  1. Brand new with less than 25k? Does that mean they have 25k on them?
  2. Continuing in my quest to get new wheels / tires, anyone in the area interested in a set of Dunlop SP Sport 01's (performance summer tires) with 1500 miles on them? Will start the bidding at $600. (FYI, this is a feeler as I would have to purchase a set of wheels that includes these tires).
  3. Ok, now that I no longer think my car is completely broken I'm back to exploring options for finding my stock wheels a new home (from an '05 wagon with ~62k miles). I'll get some pics up tonight to show overall condition of wheels / tires. If you are interested in a set of wheels and/or tires let me know. The situation has to work out where I won't have any downtime without wheels, so please keep that in mind.
  4. Potential sale of stock wheels is gonna have to go on hold for now--blew my throttle body hose off last night (i hope) and need to get some things in order before a wheel swap is a possibility.
  5. Feeler: anyone local looking for a set of OEM wheels off an '05? They're in good shape and would come with a set of yokohama tires with plenty of wear left. Not sure what the market would be for these so open to offers. Can get pics up this weekend.
  6. The other one I was referring to is the one that goes to the manifold. See image.
  7. looks good. cant see bpv sense hose, but that would be the most obvious leak ever (to the right of the intercooler as you look from the front of the car. One of the "t hoses" goes down and it's also suggested that you clamp it, but I'm not sure which one, sorry. I have an image, but baby is crying, brb.
  8. check the T-connector under you intercooler, intercooler TB hose, and BPV sense hose. I ziptied / corbin clamped all of those during my stage 2 install--you should've done the same. Not a big deal if you didnt, just have to pop the intercooler off and go at it.
  9. I took a bunch of hi-res pics yesterday, just didn't load them up yet. I'll send 'em to you tonight. Not gonna go to $50 just yet (it's only been 10 minutes since I posted, lol).
  10. I have a set of OEM crossbars designed for a wagon with factory installed rails. They say subaru on them and are made by mont blanc, I believe. End caps are missing, you can cover with electrical tape or track down something at lowes that would work I'm sure, I just haven't had the time. Looking for $75, located in Alexandria, VA (22303).
  11. Yeah, they're awesome. My wife was skeptical when we first got one but she would never let me get rid of all of 'em now. We've done whole chickens, ribs, pulled pork, smoked salmon, pizza, steaks, burgers, etc. We threw a BBQ last summer and had the grill going for over 24 hrs straight without having to add any charcoal! (about 16 hours for pulled pork and then just cranked it up for burgers and dogs). Just need to make some space and lighten the load for moving at the end of the summer. Turns out I may be keeping the small since my brother is interested in one of the eggs...I should know in the next couple of days hopefully.
  12. Ha, negative. They'd probably be easier to sell if they were drugs
  13. This is a bit random, but I'm looking to get rid of some Big Green Egg grills. If you know what they are, great. If you don't, they are ceramic charcoal grills/smokers. I've been cooking on them for a while now and love 'em. I may be moving at the end of the summer and I frankly just have too much going on in the back yard right now so just looking to get rid of a couple things. I'm definitely selling a Large-size egg ATM, possibly a small and a mini if anyone is interested. The Large comes with a wooden table and/or a nest (you can pick), plate setter, cover, and new gasket. Small has similar items to go with it. Looking for $1000 for the large with table, but price is negotiable. This is for local pickup only as these things weigh a ton.
  14. 02+. Seriously people, you are going through extra effort for nothing. Put a WTB thread on nasioc for a used STI UP and people will flock. I had one in great shape for $45 shipped within a day.
  15. Changed plugs this weekend. Things are a bit tight, but the job wasn't too bad. Key piece of equipment? A hex drive to socket adaptor, like you would chuck into a drill (similar to the pic). I ended up attaching this to the 5/8" spark plug socket and it gives you enough something to hold onto when you are seating the new plugs back in. Hand tighten them a bit and then you can pull on the drill bit piece and the whole spark plug socket will come out, leaving your new plug partially screwed in. The fact that it's screwed in a bit gives you enough clearance to now attach a short extender and universal joint to the sparkplug socket, reattach the setup to the plug, and torque it down.
  16. Damnit, I was gonna say I want the toolbox and the jack. Let me know if Ruski changes his mind.
  17. Why still no undertray?...TMIC + undertray = good.
  18. I believe that's your throw out bearing (TOB). If you have to replace that look up 'TSK3'...should prevent a complete failure down the road. Not replacing the TOB if it needs it (i.e. trying to wait another 20k) could really end up being worse for you in that piece of the trans goes boom. Others will chime in on this, I'm sure
  19. So you put power to the ipod and it worked? I'm no electrical guru, but could this be a grounding issue? Was your soldering spot on? Also, have you tried a different input source? Other ipod or a laptop or something? Also, does the cable you are using have two black rings around the metal plug or just 1?
  20. Are you getting sound out of only one side of the car? That's probably a pretty good indicator that the cable is not plugged in all the way...
