  1. Uhhh...told you so, lol. At least they'll be in perfect shape when you are done getting them powdercoated
  2. I think all of those questions are in the "if you have to ask....." category
  3. That's two more kits down, only three left! fmowry and TehRicer, your kits will go out in the mail tomorrow, thanks for ordering!
  4. Why not just have the owner peel the plastidip off? If they are actually "just" plastidipped and are in good condition underneath, he should have no problem doing that since he should be able to get more money for them if they are original finish and are in good condition.
  5. A couple more kits were ordered today and I finally had the motivation to finish cutting up the rest of the material I have. All the material that has been milled is now finished and ready to ship. I have a total of 5 kits available that are left and have not been purchased. After those are gone I'll see if the interest is still there to produce more kits. Lead time will be similar to before (between 2-4 weeks, give or take). As always, thanks for the orders--for those who ordered today, I'll most likely have them in the mail for you tomorrow
  6. What happened? I could be interested in the bent one, might throw it up on the wall or something in the garage. I gave one away for free that was bent previously, wanna do the same? lol.
  7. I love where your heads at on this one. In for results
  8. hmmm, that's weird then. no idea!
  9. It sounds like you might have a connection that is only half-way in. Possibly at the circuit board itself or somewhere else along the chain. You can experience a similar issue if you plug a set of headphones into a music player only part way.
  10. Hmmm. One key to getting them tight is keeping the tool parallel to the rails. If you hold it perpendicular while you are tightening you can run into problems. If you are doing that already, the next things is to make sure you have an extra set of hands to help with "locking" the tab in place. It's difficult to hold the tie tight and set the lock on your own. Pull the tie so it is tight, give it just a tiny bit more torque on the tool, and set the lock. I've been including an extra zip tie in every kit because I know their is a bit of a learning curve when using them. I have gone through a few of them myself and recently bulletproofed an intercooler that someone sent me--I still had to use three ties on the last one to get both ties as tight as I would like. Hit me up if you need some more ties and we can work something out.
  11. Sure it is, and it likely performs a little bit better (i guess?). But it seems to have fitment issues and it's expensive.
  12. For the money? I doubt that. Edit: but I'm slightly biased and a cash miser as well, lol.
  13. Oh, no. I don't have any "extra's" right now, just looking for some parts for projects. What year STI top mount would you be looking for?
  14. Might be interested in this. Fulton, I would just have to meet up with you some other time if you don't mind storing them for a bit. Springfield, VA. NOVA. Let me know if you are interested and where you are. Huh? Trade you a TMIC for a TMIC? I'm not sure I understand what you're offering here / what you want from me
  15. Looking to buy: stock TMICs in good shape and possibly a set of OEM mufflers with flanges that are in good shape (should've just kept the ones I sold to fulton!).
  16. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/fs-gi-va-invidia-catless-downpipe-5mt-and-cobb-accessport-192999.html Still for sale. I would prefer to be lazy and not ship this, will do $190 if you can pick it up.
  17. Shipped out another completely bullet-proofed intercooler to ktmrider this week. One kit will go out in the mail tomorrow, I think that leaves 3 on the shelf at the moment--need to finish up some more this week.
  18. Looks great! Now be sure to pass that banding tool around for the other Canadians up there!
  19. Meh. I pretty much always expect people to haggle. I expect it, I'm okay with it, and I tend to price things accordingly. Brett, if you bought one for $200 you're quibbling over $25...? Regarding the "better shape", it's a downpipe with no dents. Metal polish is on the way from amazon and with a bit of scrubbing it'll shine up just like any other downpipe that isn't rusted / banged up. Bump for me, buy my downpipe
