Will do! Purchase your kit here https://sites.google.com/site/bptmickit/ The site is setup to point to another page when the kit is sold out, so if you see the sold out page when trying to order it will be a few weeks. -
Yeah, you could argue that they are worth less than $1000 (hell, you could say they're old wheels and only worth $100), but I would guess that would affect the ability to insure them for anymore than whatever you claim them at. I'd definitely want to insure an international shipment like that if it were me.

Anyone need an undertray? It came off my wagon and has a little bit of damage to one of the mounting points, but I've been running it for the last year with no problem. I replaced it with another one that I got as part of a trade for my old sway bar. If you want it, I'll accept beer and/or bourbon--your choice. -
I really don't understand. My 5eat does not jerk into gear often at all. Occasionally I'll get a bit of a "bang" shift after running it hard when I upshift. There's sometimes a delay in responding to me telling the car to shift and then a bit of a hard shift into gear. That's it.

Ditto. Forged, lightweight, right price. I don't care that they are 10 year old wheels, they're not a wear item unless you're trashing them.
-
That's fine, I wouldn't buy your crummy BBS wheels for more than $500 I would imagine you might be able to get actual wheel boxes from a wheel shop as well for relatively cheap / free.
-
Got it. Just a quick search with rough numbers, I think that sending the wheels in 4 separate shipments via USPS is likely your best best. Looks like the cost for 4 separate packages measuring 20"x20"x8" and weighing in at 22lbs each is ~$115 per wheel for a total of $460. Add in packaging and insurance and you're probably looking at $500 or so. Shipping the wheels in 2 packages instead of 4 actually seems more expensive and really pushes the size limit of what USPS will ship internationally. Plus, actual wheel boxes designed to hold one wheel are probably easier to find that boxed for holding 2 wheels. Hope that helps. Going rates here for BBSs range from 5/600 for a crummy set to $1000 for a mint set (as much as that can be the case with wheels that are getting close to 10 years old now).

Yeah, pretty sure an LGT is upwards of $50k in AU. I think a BMW m3 runs about $110k. Crazy stuff.

I don't understand a single thing you're saying here, sorry. Sounds like you got 99 problems and a bitch aint one...but your trans takes care of about 98 of those problems. Other one might be lack of thumbs required for typing full sentences

Clearing up all the oil info....

Was the "in depth" testing you saw based on a turbocharged subaru? 'Cause if not, no one here really cares. Not trying to be a dick here, but I believe several folks have done UOAs on Rotella T6, 5w-40 and the results have been good. Could be wrong though, never bothered to worry to terribly much--I just change it on the regular. -
dmh87, PM me your full address and I'll try to figure out what shipping would be for you.

The engine cover will fit fine. You definitely want to have the engine cover on with the stock intercooler to ensure proper airflow with the splitter. -

Been reviewing things a bit tonight and I'm amazed at how everyone has bought up these kits--can't thank the community enough and I hope everyone who has received their kit is happy with the product. I have a decent amount of material left to make the "short" pieces already so I'm going to go ahead and have another batch milled up so that I can make enough "long" rails to match up. I'll update things when I have a better idea of how many extra kits I'll have available. For now I have 2 kits available--I'm guessing that within the next 3 weeks or so I'll have more available, total number yet to be determined. -

Got it, will have it in the mail for you tomorrow. -
Lol, when I first put them on they were so bright&shiny that I thought they might have been repainted--they practically glowed in the dark! Now they're dusty like most other BBSs Speaking of which, I need to pick out a decent spray on wheel cleaner that actually works...

Quite possibly, those things are in amazing shape I've had good luck with finding a couple sets, the silver set I have on now were garage queens that sat inside for a good 5 years from what I gather.
