  1. All you need to be looking at it that boost and temp lol. Just turn on the music and drive. For real though, I did the JDM DD, and full audio with 5-channel amp to power everything and the sub, sounds great.
  2. No, You get yourself a JDM double Din and stay classy. Yes it cost, but it's the way to go. Save up and do it. there is also a true plug and play wiring you can get.
  3. I am just happy I have my 06 LGT, these are the cars we need to save and keep driving. When people think about about subaru and they see and nice tuned Legacy 4th gen, they will ask what that is and want one. The amount of people that see my car and ask so many question is so cool to me. I never see any 4th or 5th gen Leggys (well my own 5th gen) ever. I love the car for that reason.
  4. Might check the sale section, so guy has a nice perrin up-pipe for sale, just saying lol.
  5. Whoa whoa, who told you a 50 year old lady was driving this car? Also so many red flags poped up when i saw this add you posted. Did you ask anything about who tuned it, or does it have an AP at all, so many questions need to be asked about turbo subies when looking. I think you need to take it to a real performance or subaru tuning shop and have them give it a once over. have them tell you if you need a short block, or need a few things replaced. You might have bought someone's problem, and that tends to happen. I hope you sort thing out, keep us updated. Remember to make sure the car is running in good health before you try to do anything to it, Good battery, all fluids changed, plugs, clean the car, check brakes, and so on.
  6. The reason I asked is because I got hail damage the one time I leave my car outside at the shop. You really can't tell till you get really close. I am looking for a stock hood and trunk, but then I need to do something to the roof. It did not break any glass, but I would like to find a stock hood and trunk but most are not in my color. I am just looking at option's. I know the true carbon hood is in japan and it's 2000 to get to a port. I have found some parts cars That I might be able to snag what I need.
  7. Anyone have this done, or have a wrap on their car?
  8. I said screw it and ordered a OEM Subaru VF52 NEW!, I did get a deal cause my buddy works there. I got used 1000CC ID's, DW pump, STI Radium FPR, Rails, and new Custom hard lines (Full Radium STI Fuel system). Then after that got GS TMIC, then said i want more power so i sent of my new 2k mile VF52 to get custom worked. It is not cheap, but if you can find deals it can be done reasonably. Just do not cut corners, these cars like quality. I did get pro-tuned each time. Now this took me 5 years and I saved to do all of it, i can not go into debt for a 2006 car lol. So yes get the VF52 and al supporting mods, and get the pro-tune. it's worth it. Just make sure your motor is strong and healthy.
  9. Make sure you get a OEM MAF or you will have trouble. No autozone or napa stuff. You can also use CRC MAF cleaner, I use this twice a year on all my cars.
  10. I have hi-flow catted DP, matted to the Nameless performance full exhaust, pair up with JDM STI Fujitsubo mufflers. I could not believe the power it made on the dyno when i was watching it. When i had pieced together stuff it limited my flow. When I got full TBE, it made a difference.
  11. I think these will sound very good, just make sure you have full TBE. I love the sound of my JDM mufflers. Every thing I hear state side I do not like. Make sure to clean them up real good, I polish mine all the time.
  12. Nice car, What type of FMIC kit is that and I was hoping to see Brembo's .
  13. You should think about getting a big boy radiator then. I also just run about 76 on cruise when I hit the highway. I never go above 187 on the highway with air moving. I did notice with my FMIC now that the temps are a bit higher like 190's but go back down when I move air.
  14. Also go check my sale post. Got a mint Grimmspeed top mount ready for ya. MAX is dead on, you need that monster mount. Also you can have your turbo all jazzed up and not have to go with a different one. My VF52 has been modified. That will help a ton.
  15. Yeah the kit fits very tight, but the power is there when you need it. I'm an old guy around here, and with two young kids the car sits and I drive my daily. Too many sports and kids events lol. I do like to let the external gate open sometimes hehe.
  16. So I figured I would share my since I got my ETS front mount on, and the car Re-tuned. So when i picked up the car I could tell from the first drive (Which was 2 + hours home) that the car was wild. It runs very smooth, has natural pops from the mufflers, which I only get around 3K if I let off the gas. HEHE. Not going to lie, it sound pretty cool, and it's some what loud and I love it. You do have to cut the bumper so it fits nice and tight. I did not want to put the front plate on my with my car standing out in my city, cops will get me each time. The wheels give me away. It's been two weeks and car runs great. Next step is STI 6MT. I get a ton of thumbs up now riding down the road now from all the tuner people and V8 people. I had to get new TS race port also cause my old one would not fit. I recommend the kit to anyone that's gone over board like me. Car is all cleaned up and ready for summer. lets not talk about that passenger headlight, I am so pissed, but it goes away fast, I am going to get new custom lights and pay the high cost so they seal right and I know it's done right. this will be my 3rd set.
  17. I would give 3k for it max, might even offer 2k and see if they take it. A rebuilt or salvage title is not worth anything. So offer low and cash. If you really want to buy it drive it and have it looked at.
  18. You need to make sure you car is running in good condition with the miles it has before you decide to do anything. I do not really even recommend cobb OTS unless your going to the pro tuner that day. The OTS is not for you to drive on for a long time. The parts are fine if your going to the tuner that week.
