Question about coilovers!

Dang your in Highschool with a 05 LGT , I wish I had a car like that in HS. I would tell you this, Do not mod the car, just make sure it is in top running condition. Don't try to show off in it. these old gals are strong but will act a fool if you try to test them. Do a banner, I had one in HS, and I had wheels also. I also had a glasspack and duals on my car, I still think it's cool till this day. Just make sure you do not go overboard. Make sure all maintenance is done CHECK YOUR OIL Change your oil Enjoy it and have fun. the car might not be the fastest, but make no mistake it will make your respect it if you try to be a superhero. the all wheel drive can do weird things. I would like to see where you go with this car. keep us posted. -
Question about coilovers!

m spark is correct. It depends on what you're going to do with your car. My car sits in a garage and so does my buddies STI. we hit some nice back roads, and we never track or do autoX events. I personally sold and run what I sell. I have run Tein street coilovers on my 08 2.5i and I just had the tire gap taken out and the car ran so smooth. I had those on the car for 5 years till I sold the car. I ran the same set on my 09 WRX with no issues. I now run ISC N1 V2 Coilovers on my 06 LGT, I sold the same set to my buddy for his 04 STI. They have the tipple s street springs so it makes the ride very nice, and you will not need to get you back adjusted after a back road cruise. They do run about 1200-1500 if your buy through them. I will be real with you, they are 13 way adjustable and damper blah blah, but we had our shop install them and they set it and we never touch it is the key. I have seen people get 500-700 dollar sets and I will not hate on them, get what you want. You neck with hurt, back will need alignment, lol -
Not going to lie I had a buddy using Amazon oil in his car, and the car ran great. when looking close to the label and where it was made, it was produced in the same place these big oil companies get their oil made, but with an Amazon label. Now I love me some AMSOIL and can get Motul also, but I just stick to Amsoil.

Oh how I miss my N/A 2008 Legacy. After I fixed the HG, the car was mint. No turbo problems lol. This car should last you very long. Just do regular maintenance and you will be set. You can go the JDM DD route for a new radio if you really want, but it cost. Great car take care of it.

We sure love these cars lol good luck with the hunt. -
M sprank, this is some of the dumbest stuff I have ever seen. Acting like these old cars are worth gold lololol. I know my 2006 is nothing in the eyes of others. I know better than to ask what the amount of money I put into it if I was to sell it. I mean lest be real, people are not out searching for 4th gens like I would, or you would. people really be scared of these cars. lol

Best quality belts?
NORULZleggy replied to Jolbaru_LGT's topic in Fourth Generation Legacy (2005 - 2009)
I mean geez, OEM subaru belt it not that much. I just have them on hand. -
Let me tell you how much I love this car, drove it few days ago when it was nice out, and saw some fresh coolant on my clean garage floor . I just drove it. I will dig into it later. I think I need to drive it more so the gaskets expand and seal it better. letting it sit for weeks on a battery tender make her mad hehe.

S402 Clone build

Nice! -
You got this right! When I saw 398hp/355tq on 93 I was like Horse Sh*T. I went way overboard with my build, fuel system, gt25 turbo, pump, parts and even more. The day of my protune, I would have sent it hard but the tuner was like you want ti to last and I was like yes lol. You would have to stress that block to get close to those numbers, and it would not last long. I am also looking at going STI 6MT after I do my STI brakes, and was told I would not have to worry about a retune with the trans swap. I hope you get thing going.

NORULZleggy replied to Pleides's topic in Fourth Generation Legacy (2005 - 2009)
You should have already bought it. this is one thing I tell everyone to buy. My car did not have a stutter or anything else, but the car is smooth, and runs great. Buy it. -

Make sure you add some GSC bits to your heads, It really helps out. I am not saying build the heads but add some better parts in them.
