  1. 1024x768 but you wanna match the Windows resolution also within Centrafuse as well. And you want to match the refresh rate (Hz) of the monitor with that in Windows.
  2. I am not using anything bluetooth. Till last Monday I did not even have a bluetooth phone. I am not running it as a system shell - it does not speed up things. I just have it start automatically though - create a link in the startup folder. It is rather slow because I have the wireless netowrking going - though I disabled the file & printer sharing, it still slows down considerably. but since I always warm up the car 1-3 min it is fine - next windows install will be on a faster hd and a trimmed down windows.
  3. Jesus Christ 3 people in less than 24 hrs requested the damn logo. You all owe me a beer. EACH !
  4. PM me an email address and I will.
  5. I have a laptop mounted into an aluminium suitcase which was cut and modified to fit it. It is mounted on the left side of the trunk. I also added a fan inline with the laptop's own fan
  6. I do not know what to tell you. I got the GLI along with the Jazzy Mod so maybe that is why I did not notice. However the volume is lower via the jazzy mode compared to the regular CD playback.
  7. Deltabi Take a look below http://www.mp3car.com/products/Jetway/Jetway_Product_Matrix.htm http://store.mp3car.com/Motherboards_s/50.htm
  8. I did it with a 6 ft extension and I thought I would never put the carpet and the back seat back together. Dashboard...center console...E-Brake...under carpet...left rear passenger footwell... along left rear door (under the plastic trim)...trunk You need nimble fingers and one long thin metal coat hanger...and run 2 ropes. You will not be able to pull ALL cables at once...so you have to do it one by one...but you wanna make sure that you do not spend 2 hours every time you want to pull that rope under the carpet. Hence two ropes (one always drags the other...and one always drags a cable - or one long rope and you attach the cable to be pulled in the middle so the edges are always clearing the carpet at either end). And please choose a warm day to do this. And a good night sleep. No kids and women around or pissy neighbors.

  10. Cool...but made in China ? Not that anything else is not made there...My issue is that it is very compact - I assume it runs HOT. Also, no USB but rather bluetooth. One could buy a police pc and a screen though
  11. I saw an almost white GT parked on my street. Could have sworn is mine, but mine is black.
  12. YES and NO. The place for navigation really is the cubby. Because that is where the manufacturer intended it. The other advantage to its OEM location over the stock radio position is that you do not tilt your head and look so far down on the screen when driving. That is much safer IMO. Some cars - like Mercedes and Jaguar - still have it there; but IMO the higher up and integrated in the dashboard (as opposed to the center console) the better.
  13. The IG3 plugin works flawlessly for me and I customized it to cover more screen (over the centrafuse music buttons). The toolbar issue i have but I looked past it. I am running the Enginuity ...forgot which version I think the last one that made it on the website 047 ? for which I run the comand line and i have it embedded in Centrafuse. Works fine. Not the smoothest startup but works ok. Load the profile and that is it. I have a touchpad which simplifies mousepoint operations
  14. So what is the story on this IG4 and the plugin ? Working or not ? I have had the IG3 and the plugin for well almost a year now...and I am afraid to upgrade to IG4 for fear of serious headache afterwards. I have not tried yet. Can IG3 and IG4 co-exist ? When I install IG4 i just want it on one machine...no funny licensing issues afterwards I hope. One machine ID, one license and that is gonna be my car pc. But I need some reassurance the process is smooth. How did you upgrade ?Is it just as simple as installing IG4 and not touching the centrafuse plugin ?
  15. There is a beautiful IGNORE feature. Do not worry, I will not be reading your reply since the site automatically hides it for me. I did a quick check and all your answers are "smart ass" comments. So I may be misinformed and claimed something that may not exist. SO WHAT ? Did anyone get hurt ? Did I insult anyone ? Nope... So I may have been misinformed and may have misunderstood something. Well ...where is the tragedy in that ? I really could care less who you are and who you shook hands in your life time or what your real age is or what your level of expertise and education is. Judging from your answers you gave in all your posts on this website...biological age and level of education is irrelevant. Your answers in whatever threads you participates tell the story. http://www.legacygt.com/forums/search.php?searchid=3728308 Have a nice life and drive safely and make sure you do not spin out on thin ice/snow. As I said I will not be reading your answers. Call it whatever, but there is no point in any further conversation with you. Aeternum Vale !
  16. He he STG, I would be careful with how you phrase your statements. Your personal attacks prove nothing but a young age. Just because I have no time to waste searching online for that one claim does not mean you are right. Prove me wrong with your citation since you apparently have the time to waste. If you search this forum about the JDM sway bar being thicker than the OEM US one you will come across the reference as well. Go back to 2005 conversations/threads. There are a number of things that DOT and NHTSA do different for imported cars - be that bumper height and dimensions, headlights, etc. NHTSA understeering = "plowing out" - the first to references Mr. Google showed me. http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/staticfiles/DOT/NHTSA/Rulemaking/Rules/Associated%20Files/ESC_NPRM.pdf http://www.safercar.gov/BASC2007/pages/SafetyFeatures.htm
  17. Here...if you have more time to waste than I do do a search on http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/ for SAE J266 and i am sure you will come up with a final ruling which was listed in the Code of Federal Regulations. And I am sure it is listed in here http://www.gpoaccess.gov/cfr/index.html part 571 Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards
  18. Oho...slow down champ. I think you need to be a little more respectful. I will dig it up. Patience. I actually tried to use the citation when I posted this but all I could find is NHTSA mandating ESC. But trust me, there are such laws dictating how a car should behave at the limit. Understeer is safer than oversteer and last thing a car should do is spin around its axle into the incoming traffic. Imagine taking an exit ramp off the highway ? What is safer - you slowing down because the car cannot take the turn at high speed ? or your back end coming loose and doing an 180 ? You want me to dig up the law that in effect translates into our Subarus having different bumpers than the JDM ones as well ?
  19. Errr stiffer sways on the rear (unless matched at the front) will always cure the understeer and promote oversteer. There are certain US laws that require a car to understeer at the limit and folks upgrading the rear sways is not gonna help their winter driving confidence in this car; everything else being equal.
  20. I think that Subaru is behind times by not offering extremely helpful technology such as stability control in their cars. They make it available on select upscale models (duh the SPEC and certain GTs with automatics). I can appreciate the simplicity and efficiency of their permanent AWD but maybe it is time to move from viscous LSDs to Torsen and upgrade the SC availability thruout their entire "performance" car range (read turbo) and 6-bangers). I was skeptical of how much SC helps - until I spent 8 days driving a car that has it, on ice and snow in NE part of this continent. SC > AWD when it comes to winter driving.
  21. Yes, this car is tail happy. The lack of stability control show. I spent the last 8 days driving a Mitsu Endeavour (SUV; AWD) with stability control and its effect is noticeable. And yes, I drove it ONLY on snow covered grounds, around Lake Placid NY, Montreal & Mont Tremblant QC - where winters are winters and snow fall is measured in meters.
  22. I am actually happy with Cenrafuse. I never got to create playlists the way it is supposed to work...I just couldn't so I just resolved to reorganize my entries in folders... Thru Centrafuse I get my Navi (IG3), my music, my E-dashboard (Enginuity), weather, web - as a matter of fact these 5 buttons figure on my first screen. Well hold it...web is on the second page since I put Hiberante and Shut down on the first. Overall, I am happy with Centrafuse.
  23. Don't you love it when n00bs start organizing things... Good luck.
  24. Does Soobie Doobie Doo post any other doo anywhere else but in this thread ? Cause it stinks and shoudl be cleaned up of this intellectual garbage that shit don't happen cause it does not happen in his neck of the woods. I have been flashed by cops many times (incoming) for headlight issues. Whether stock or the Osram ones. I reply with the long beam. I was stopped once and told him that is how the car came. And mine ain't that HID obscene brilliant, just white slightly yellow. And Heights...stop contributing to this thread's pollution. If he ain't getting banned for mental, at least let him talk alone. And if you feel you wanna talk to him, do it in private.
