  1. Black, tinted LGT pulled over in the accident investigation site on 90-94 down town. TOnight at about 10 pm
  2. Silver GT today near United Center - City Colleges of Chicago parking lot. we exchanged a few hand waves
  3. I do not find it funny. I do not know what race you attended at USGP last year but I saw Mike and Rubens racing each other until after the last pitstop. So you acknowledge that. Which means they raced each other before that. Now...it makes sense to bring the car home safely. They had like 50 laps to establish a win. Ultimately Mike was faster. THAT was a race where there were no team orders at Ferrari to decide the win. It was all about the two jockeys trying to beat their respective Pracing Horse to go faster.
  4. Fan of the wrong team (Renault F1) and likely wrong guy (Fernando Alonso) was spotted wearing a light blue Team Renault F1 shirt driving a light blue Legacy GT wagon with IL plates, accompanied by a buddy...back from the F1 Race at Indy on 2nd July. I waved...you waved...we drove together for a while. Finally you took 90 and I took 94. Come to our meets sometimes. Signed - fan of the right team (Ferrari) and of the right guy (Michael Schumacher) - your 7 time world champion, 87 times race winner and last but not least 6 times Indy winner (technically just 5 except for 2004 when claiming a brain fade gave the victory to Rubens; Barichello winning by like 0.1 seconds)
  5. Honestly...I have seen a silver wagon around Irving Park and Pulaski, and a light blue gt on I-94. So 2 of them just today. The wagon...I have seen it a few times before. Really I do not bother. A black GT this past Saturday at the Jefferson Park Metra Station. And so on. I have seen probably 10 GTs in the last week. None of them my friends (you guys). I honked, I waved, I flashed my healights, I pulled alongside. Fuckem very much !
  6. Hey guys...how about lending Marc a "muscle"...or a hand at least ? Marc, if you neeed an extra pair of hands....let me know...
  7. Saw the entire Chicago Club of Mitsu Lancer Evo meeting at Buffallo Wild Wings at Touhy and Central (Niles Ceter Road), Saturday 25th February 2006. Did not count the cars but at least 25 of them. There were a few Subaru STi, a Supra, and the P&L Motorsports Honda S2000. Good looking cars, a few noted my Legacy. I was at the movies with girlfriend. http://forums.evolutionm.net/showthread.php?t=180615&page=19&pp=15
  8. Nice meeting you Weasel ! I was going to post as well...I was on my way to Diversey Bowl for Bowling with friends ! Traitor...silver huh ! On a second thought...finally...(RAO aside) finally Larry does not feel lonely ! But it is highly remarkable how friendly LGT drivers are to eachother !
  9. Well I had a run-in with a black, tinted Saabaru who was a jerk...kept accelerating...coming parallel to me, gunning it in front of me...yesterday on Fullerton Ave (going east) at about 10 AM. I mean I noticed him and at first I thought he was being friendly and just coming by my side and I waved. Then he started jerking in and out in the traffic...switching lanes...reving and shit so I left him to his own follies. Every time I would catch up with him (no racing here...me simply going with the flow of traffic, he would accelerate and force someone out of his way and into my lane in front of me). So I say go read up on Legacy son...the Saab that GM never built !
  10. Brothers...any NEW 2005- 2006 vacation pictures from this year ? I am just trying to see if you"ve been in different places !
  11. Shame on you ! That was mid 1980's and 1600 HP from 4 cyl 1.6 L engines ! And they also changed the engines freely...several times a week-end...unlike the 2 races per engine like today. Early 1990's had 3.5 L V12s - Ferrari, Lamborghini, 3.5 L V10s Honda, Renault, 3.5 L V8s Hart, Ford, Yamaha...
  12. Dude...what part of my explanations you do not understand and what part of these explanations clears up my issues ? What part of 65 setting translates to maximum cool should I disregard ? I tried it as you said it...the car does not want to cool down. AC does not work. On 66 cyling the air, it is horrendous. On 65 cyling the air is mildly inhumane. If I bring outside air, the experimental drivers inside will not die of heat stroke...for now because the air is still cool. AUTO, MANUAL mode, this car doesn't cool.
  13. So yesterday was a pretty warm day in Chicago. It happened that I took a leisure drive from Chicago to Gurnee and I had to make use of the air conditioning. First off...with both dials on 65 and the AC turned on...the air was still very warm. Second...if I set it up for recirculation inside the car...the inside of the car quickly becomes too warm. Third...if I bring in outside air it will cool down...but nowhere near my minivan levels. I mean I am pulling 2 deg C at the vents in my minivan while on recirc. The recirc. doesn't seem to help cool down the interior, it will fog up the windows if used with warm air what not. Am I doing something wrong or ? Might I say I was in full manual mode...don't mess with AUTO cause I hate it. And also what can i do about the interior dust. Someone please link me to that cabin air filter thread...or is it just my interior that is so dusty .
  14. I tried to do it myself but I was unable to unplug it. How do you do it ? Do you actually just pull it ? There is no screw driver to be used...no little snap-on harness to worry about ? Is it as simple as just pulling the white connector out ? Please help ?
  15. Your wife is HOT. Sorry, I couldn't help. Maybe I will be a pervert and look every now and then at the pics.
  16. I don't think you can do that. You still have to disconnect the (-). But you may make a trip to your local Murry's Auto or Autozone and buy some cables and a switch and you may set up a 'battery disconnect' switch yourself. Image...in the unfortunate event of electrical fire...you can just pop the hood open, flip the switch and eliminate some of the dangers :-) Honestly...I think all cars should have such a solution, just as they have a switch (impact) for the fuel tank, there should be one (manual) for the battery.
