  1. Keep forgetting I have these sitting up. Still pissed I missed out on the "Unofficial Group Buy" price.
  2. Wish I could help, I already got the GS one with the 3 port EBCS in the last Group Buy. A lot of people say you should openly say you have a gun/weapon, you are better off just handing over the card with your license the second they walk up. it should come up with your tags but having the card pretty much implies it's in the car right now. Both hands in plain sight is also something you want to do, CHPD body cameras are almost never on for those who carry them. For a traffic stop I'd asume you would think it's on. The last time I got pulled over the Bentleyville cop drove clear past their City Hall and almost into Chagrin Falls before pulling me over. Solon is kinda the same with forever follows before pulling you over. Have you been to this thread yet? http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/official-firearm-thread-v3-256237.html
  3. Yeah I live in the Heights, they are the same way still. Solon and Bentleyville are usually who I get pulled over by the most for random reasons. It literally seems like they pick the very day I have all my guns and lots of ammo for range day. I usually toss my gun in the glovebox and have my CHL card out with the other stuff in a generic auto wallet.

  5. I'm still having fun with my S&W 1911Sc. Only had issues with the aluminum Federal cases and the 10 round mag with the rounds nose diving when it was new.

  7. The true diehard 1911 fans don't like the external but I also have a 1911Sc with external extractor. Earlier models of my 1911Sc the pin would work it's way loose falling down and cause issues but that design flaw has been fixed for my gun. LOL yeah I was stationed at JB MDL so I know your pain. I refused to move there so I stayed here in Ohio and commuted for my weekend drills and stayed in hotels when I was there on long orders. Guns stayed home since even my hollow points are a no no there. Even the NYPD guys who came down for frill would get hassled for hollow points.
  8. Yeah the filter thing is horrible and now I feel like taking may car with dash already out so that doesn't happen to me.
  9. Reason I stayed my happy ass in NoVa crying about car tax the semi new Legacy was costing me. They wasn't playing that year I was unemployed. Missed the payment and they locked the BMV from even looking at my records.
  10. No, I had a weatherstip issue at the back window I need to fix when I do get it running again. Body shop tore it and insurance clearly didn't want to cover it. Car broke before I could really deal with it and them. Still need to do a paint warranty claim as well. Yeah there was a refresh a few years after ours. Even the steering wheels changed up. Yeah the whole turning an average joe into a mechanic part, I missed that section in the brochure. I still have it and can't find the small print where that was hiding.
  11. *Walks in trying to be relatable but all the posts are refreshed 4 gen stuff.* #1 Power steering cooler. Seems like it was cool for 1 year then it's gone. #2 Black headlight housings. Kinda glad I got an 05 as I can't stand the chrome ones in the years after. #3 Cabin filter. I know there is a fix and I'll probably do that mod 3 years after I get the car running. Just don't see why they didn't figure taking half the interior apart wasn't logical. LOL and to go though all that trouble to not even find a filter in the tray.... #4 once they did a refresh, why did they keep the clock separate of the radio still? Pre refresh we have all our cool instant/trip/till empty/timer stuff there that gets moved to the gauge cluster later on. #5 Redundant CHMSL with GT wing installed. Taking the bulb out is cool if the tint wasn't already cut around the back window making it a noticeable redundant feature still.
  12. LOL My 1st pistol was a Glock 22 based off all the Maryland guys at my civilian job who recommended it. If we ever got into a firefight, we all could accept each other mags. My supervisor was Mr. Tacticool before it was a term and carried 7 magazines on his duty belt sitting behind a desk. Complete Farva all day except he had all the cool tech on his like guide rod laser night sights and lighter trigger. I just held a 22C the other day and had a moment where I wanted to get another one. The guys who took the Metro home from VA had to unload their guns before they got on so they didn't have a loaded gun on the way home crossing over the state lines. The issued work gun was a 38 revolver and you were responsible for the ammo and speed loaders. Yeah the 22/23 in a .40 is a bit much. Almost on par with the SCCY in 9mm and it's snap but more controllable in the larger frame. It's almost like you felt the whole gun turn with the round as it went down the barrel. XD 40 was better at taking the rounds but felt a bit top heavy for my liking.
  13. Speaking of Sigs, I got to shoot the 938 on Friday. Clearly wasn't any close comparisons beside size. I usually fire the SCCY just to try and get my trigger discipline in. 938 really didn't care what I did, it pretty much landed where it should have even 1 handed. my only gripe is round count and how hard the safety was to go on. Taking the safety off wasn't an issue at all. I've been using the 1911 as my EDC recently, taking advantage of the winter gear making it possible. http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k280/merc6/223042F3-626B-4B4D-974A-3D16C9D2CAF5_zpso00pkr83.jpg~original http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k280/merc6/02E09CB2-0B71-4182-9D59-01428A240696_zpstnygrnul.jpg~original http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k280/merc6/6823408F-10B2-4652-9852-A0BE6C55C6FE_zpscg3ssz2l.jpg~original http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k280/merc6/A6C63A8D-76A2-4C64-8948-05D82F74CDA3_zpsezgmr4xc.jpg~original http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k280/merc6/43B6D3EF-3F3B-46DD-BBC8-30D2E7A07609_zpszmjw4cvf.jpg~original
  14. Yes the 226 is what I fired looking back at the pics. Ignore the .45 ammo that was for my 1911. http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k280/merc6/g2_zpszxlowsym.jpg~original http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k280/merc6/g3_zpskhfvcjek.jpg~original
  15. New to sigs, How much difference does those shoot compared to the 9MM SAO Legion I shot and sooo want? Any comparison to the M11's AFOSI carries or carried?
  16. I wasn't old enough and didn't really appreciate revolvers like that around that time. Police here had those as their side arm but now they are semi autos.
  17. They don't pay for shipping there, Shipping it back again would be the value of the gun if I sold it. The warranty has been abused to the point it kinda sucks. No free ship labels and no more free gun if stolen.
  18. Got my SCCY back from the factory the other day, shot the pins out it 1st range day. Seems like they replaced the frame and didn't use the oversized frame pins. Whatever glue they used didn't hold up to WWB ammo. I'll entertain the idea of selling it after I recover from replacing my DD, 2 kids B days and Christmas.
  19. LOl I'm by Monticello Middle school and still don't spot you. there was a WRB WRX that used to take a shortcut by me to avoid the school traffic. I never knew who the guy was until I needed to diagnose the dead Legacy. It will be spring until that thing is spotted, but the bright red Honda you can't miss.
  20. I have not seen one of those in real life. I barely see 4 gen GT's like how many were made? Most I see is the current gen N/A 4's and 6's
  21. This guy here. I almost had a used 9MM one but it literally sold from under me. Ended up with the S&W 1911SC instead.
  22. If that's the case, I have a really fast Chevy Cruze. I may have 180 Tq at the crank on a good day before it defaults from 91 fuel map to 87 again due to Gm placing the FMIC between the condenser and radiator. I don't want to dyno it and find out I was lied to any more than I already was by the tuner. That money could go to Dynoing the LGT whenever it runs again.
  23. Yeah I may need that front blade for my 1911, I just got the standard one that just barely stands out except in night low light setups. Point of CCW/CHL is for you initially, you can choose to help others or not. Just beware that the perfect mass shooing savior could become the victim when the cops finally arrive. Ohio has a nice sized "No Zimmerman" paragraph as well. I also have the SCCY in the car as back up means. I rather have that option available than not at all. Ohio Laws are slightly decent in some areas then lack in others.
  24. In other words a visit to a North American dealer wouldn't fix this issue if not all pieces were gotten?
