LOL, Could have sworn I knew all the SWP's for the DMV especially when I purchased mine in NoVa. http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k280/merc6/LGT/a6db307c.jpg~original This was on the way to a part out of a 4th SWP members car where I got my limited interior from. MrLuv up front and I can't remember her name in the middle.

Maybe swamped by Black Friday sales. Seems to be the universal situation with tuners on all the forums.

Only other way I saw was the silver Hyundai one where the buttons were almost spot on. Most the key one I saw linked to nasioc where they already had the all in one key or cut the factory key. I was able to get Home depot to cut mine, just need dealership to program the chips. I have an aftermarket alarm so not getting the remote to work is not that pressing. I may try again to get into that menu but wasn't able to. I deleted the beeps when the seat belt chime wouldn't go off from me having 06 seats in a 05.

CovertRussian's 05 LGT Build Thread
Merc6 replied to covertrussian's topic in Fourth Generation Legacy (2005 - 2009)
Not sure about that as I didn't break that one yet, LOL. Actually I didn't take apart most my engine so I may look and see if that's another random snag on reassembly hidden. Broke one exhaust cam gear trying to remove it w/o the cam tool and the other when the shop had to chisel the other bolt off. -

Maybe its one of those early, late builds things. Mine was metal and the replacement was plastic. Parts guy who also had a LGT had explained it to me that way. -

Yeah 05 that was a metal pulley later replaced with plastic one because supposedly the metal one would overheat/fail and take the bearing. I broke that tab and ended up replacing all of that. http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k280/merc6/LGT/9F6B8039-0557-4029-991D-949EDB8FE20F_zpslzeplsle.jpg~original -

I got the UV clear coat that I haven't used yet. Did the kit have similar? I wanted to take them off and not just mask the entire car from over spray. http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k280/merc6/DC8D56C8-B347-4B94-AA52-82E06F83831F_zpssd7pc5kh.jpg~original -
I was always confused what New England consisted of but was too lazy to Google. I was apart of Mid Atlantic for a few then went Mid Western again. Can't believe I haven't gone a single winter w/o snow. Random Pics for thread relevancy below http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k280/merc6/LGT/D18DE9E4-7DD3-4EAC-8568-DFE22B824E7A_zpsucpckwir.jpg~original http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k280/merc6/LGT/E5412447-EB6A-4074-80F0-91555B11AEFE_zpsywl52ckt.jpg~original http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k280/merc6/LGT/DF7FF5AA-54EB-45BF-AAE5-230D52D317E4_zpslqqjdju5.jpg~original

KILLER deal on Lower control arms
Merc6 replied to Harsho1's topic in Fourth Generation Legacy (2005 - 2009)
How do they feel to those that got around to installing them "as is" or close to it? Trying to gauge if I want to start swapping bushings in them before spring when they go on. -
There is a Spec B off brook park in a plaza across from the Mazda and Walmart. F4 carded it like 2 times way back when and never got a reply back. I found a stack of those cards the other day. Still haven't took the decals off, figure why not at this point. http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k280/merc6/LGT/DCF67F05-ECA2-4B17-B9A4-DDACC393EC94_zps4eoimcrv.jpg~original http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k280/merc6/LGT/CC5BC648-C950-4311-AACD-2C62DFB5CF9C_zpsyuqplfnq.jpg~original

My last drag strip passes were 13.35 @ 96 MPH with H rated tires on Capital Raceway In Crofton, Maryland. If all goes well on the build, I should at least break even 13's on good tires. I'm not gonna launch it nearly as hard as I did when I got it. I pretty much bought it, ran it , retuned it then ran it again.

Spotted a blue 4gen N/A as a Drivers Ed car outside the Golden Gate BMV the other day.

How much money did you really put into your legacy?
Merc6 replied to ddavis's topic in Fourth Generation Legacy (2005 - 2009)
There is a few other threads I do that to as well. -
Yeah once you clean them. You miss a spot you see it after rinsing the car off. Polished is not as rewarding like a black car but it still looks good up close when you do. Sent from my iFail using Tapatalk App

KILLER deal on Lower control arms
Merc6 replied to Harsho1's topic in Fourth Generation Legacy (2005 - 2009)
The job I got just before the leggy broke has a heated garage. I kept a 98 Buick rust free just about with just spraying down the salt. 8 hour shifts so it dried out well. I'm trying to remember how salt was in DMV as it snows and NJ was also horrible on my legacy at times. Last few years here we didn't really have to worry about salt as they never plowed the roads half the time. NJ http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k280/merc6/LGT/Picture%20179_zps0uqat2qs.jpg~original OH http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k280/merc6/LGT/27c7d416.jpg~original How the car has been for the past few winters. http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k280/merc6/LGT/283a99e2.jpg~original -

KILLER deal on Lower control arms
Merc6 replied to Harsho1's topic in Fourth Generation Legacy (2005 - 2009)
They are the same brand as the LCA from what I been reading. I guess time will tell if they last as long as the oem ones. Mine won't be on before the engine falls back in so I can swap them out when the time comes. -
On my other car with similar alarm, I had keys cut and hidden inside the car separate of the remote for back up. It was a FoMoCo vehicle so the keypad was there for entry and remote start did bypass the key not being programmed to the car. I haven't tried with this car but I have 2 keys and a valet that got sacrificed for Remote start so I see this should work same way. other thing I forgot to ask is how many of these cut keys and remotes can be programmed to 1 car?

Yeah wish I stayed in NoVa! Pretty much, everything is a 1 time use bolt. This is also from a car that hasn't been on the road for quite a bit. -

Yeah... FDB! I'll let a shop tackle this in the spring. By then I'll find out if everyone had BJ size issues and swap em accordingly. http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k280/merc6/LGT/B40D6BC7-CF6A-44BF-8C5B-8535E4B2C47F_zpsvjb9mhlp.jpg http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k280/merc6/LGT/D9052FB3-DC07-4B0C-A224-7B82ECF3129E_zpsompt49nx.jpg Sent from my iFail using Tapatalk App
