Yeah I never tore down my VF40, it was broke like that with turbine separation. I ended up selling it to a local who shipped it to BNR. Got a 46 from another local who totaled his Shrek B in the snow. Thought I cleaned everything and kept the oil cooler and oil pump. 2000/3000 miles later engine gone and 46 contaminated. Currently on block 2 and JmP VF52 while replacing the parts I blew off from changing the 1st time.

Ammo and break in totally could have been the reason.

Range gun, hasn't been in the case for a week at best. Ammo was Federal brass range ammo "cause rental" I fired that just before the VP9, I didn't like it much granted the 226 legion SAO is the Sig I really want. The fix I think was another trigger. The Yankee Marshal already swapped his out but I don't think he drop tested it. Yeah FB and IG memes are great! A few folks showed Glocks failed the drop test but they all had aftermarket triggers. Kinda makes me want to just use a factory kit in my 80%. Glock 22 still M.I.A.

Brass would eject onto my arm every time.

OMG this brings back memories. Vhoop sound, metallic popcorn popping sound and me still driving it. You at least got a tow I limped it back home 20 miles to go grab a rental. Real question is what did the oil in the pan look like?

Went to the range and used my free rental to run through some guns. Sig P320, H&K VP9, and a random HiPoint. Also went and got an $80 80% Spectre PF940 frame in OD Green.

0 miles since the Subaru doesn't run. LOL I wish. Maybe when the lease is up I'll see how far I got with the Subaru build. Parking for a truck is kinda iffy this way. My Accord just barely sticks out the spots at work. A&A I was out that way in May when I went to the annual Lordstown meet for the other car forum I mod. Once the Subaru runs I could justify the miles. As is, i'm at the very edge of the yearly miles. A lot of things that caused me to be over have changed. Coming to work I'm driving that direction on 422. Does East Cleveland count as an outdoor range, It's like 2 mins from where I live.

Outdoor shooting is an additional hour 1 way on a leased vehicle. $6 trap games and outdoor range for pistols. The road to the range is kinda sketch for cars tho. A guy with the exact same car as me managed to rip off his fancy exhaust finisher and bend the muffler hanger up.

LOL try $1 bills like it was a strip club shooting only 12 Ga slugs in the indoor range. When I luck out Walmart has the 15 pack for like $11 and I'll buy al 1-3 boxes and hoard them a bit. Gander had the Truball slugs for like $3.90 when they had them in stock.

Yeah that sucks! No wonder people just up and don't follow the laws. Not hinting to break the laws especially in Cali. Here in the state of Ohio, a crime of violence (not a full blown DV or Felonious Assault) only bars you from CHL for up to 3 years from date of conviction. After that you still good to go even w/o sealing your records.

I ended up buying a 05 limited seat, not the cheapest route but I couldn't for the life of me find the interior thread at the time.

Reuse the bottom of the 05 passenger seat since you also lose the seat belt spot on the side of the seat after 05. After a few years of "Racecar is life" with 06 Limited Tan and deleting the chime speakers I purchased another 05 Tan seat to toss in.

I never really fired anything Beretta besides beat to hell M9's, I always wondered what the other ones feel like especially the WC ones. I'm pretty sure that suppressor is fun as well, lol one day! Got my 1911 back, they replaced the plunger tube and put on a different front sight after I told them the gun shoots rather low. Going to take it to shoot tomorrow and see how it is. Forgot how it feels to have night sights again.

I never had an issue and the previous owner was 35% tint when he sold it to me. I spent maybe 3 more years in NoVa before bringing the car back to Ohio where nobody hassled me for the tint. This was FFX County cops, Arlington County cops, MPD, and Prince George from what I could remember. I'm not 100% sure if he tinted in Nova or or Georgia where the car originated from. Majority of that time I had the darker 07 Shrek B interior but right before moving to Ohio went 06 Limited tan. Car was registered and garaged NoVa that entire time.
