  1. Yeah my DD is damn near as reliable as the dead LGT it replaced. 3 axles 3 water pumps 3 coil packs 3 sets of wheels 1 lca 1 thermostat 1 brake booster pump 1 6mt trans 1 exterior trunk button 1 negative battery cable I'm sure I forgot 3 more items.
  2. Yeah that thread got locked because someone wanted to flip a Shrek B for $30K+ I'm still stuck at 87K with 100K+ badge of ownership sitting on a shelf somewhere. http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k280/merc6/LGT/2E0E27FE-012A-48B5-8CA2-5A139D507603_zpsi6fskbtw.jpg~original
  3. Better than me. I either joined a month or 2 after I got the car or in this case I joined to post in the for sale section where I got my car. In 05 I drove the GT and the i but ended up buying another car entirely. Still held onto the brochure for it in the event I came back to get one. 2 years later I ended up getting it used.
  4. Holly dead thread bump! 1* The OEM filter they speak of is no longer oem. 2* You may want to post in this sectios since recomendations for oil chage intervals changed since our 05-09 went out of production http://legacygt.com/forums/forumdisplay.php/fifth-generation-legacy-2010-2014-92.html
  5. Good thing you figured it out. Reminds me I need to buy another one of those too.
  6. Wish I had a lemon tea party here to help me with my build. Much jellybean, saltine really .
  7. Wish you well in your quest for a quick drop in. Hope you find one for reasonable price. When I started my search I couldn't find but $6000 200K mile ones or unknown miles with never tested if ran notes.
  8. Mine has been off the road for about 5 years if that counts
  9. Breaker bar does exactly that. Broke the bolt off inside the head that holds the oil line down on top.
  10. F4's is gone and replaced by NEOSOC. LERSOC is the older crowd but you won't find most of those guys on purpose. They tend to keep to themselves off somewhere. Ganley was one of the sponsors, Rob would go grab a new car and park it at the meet where outsiders would see it and possibly test drive it. Don't think they let him get a STi granted Doug had one then. That's when I realised Ohio lets you put collector plates on literally a new car. Same for certain WRB STi's in certain years as it's "Rare enough to have collectors plates and no emissions. A combination of what looks like everything happened. Gonna be engine block 2 and turbo 3 when finished. Haven't taken the heads apart from the block but have a feeling those may be going too. I got the block cheaper than what online shipped is.
  11. Posts in some forums don't accumulate post count IIRC.
  12. Welcome to the forums. I'm also in CH-UH but you will most likely spot me in my Cruze. Legacy been down for quite a bit. summer 2016 seems promising. Same dealer is where I went since the Forced 4's one in Bedford Auto Mile seems to have higher priced OEM parts. I wonder if they still honor F4's member cards or not. Willoughby keeps sending me "trade in your 2005" and your car shoulod need servicing letters all the time. I may call them one day and see if they want it that bad. One time I was there someone traded in an 05 LGT and the engine took a crap after they took the car in. They just happened to have 2 STi blocks in stock for all the dead 4 gens they see.
  13. Considering my oem look like crap now, several sounds good to me. I'm still debating on the whitelines and new shocks since I'm going Tein springs same time.
  14. The employee's driving record was atrocious.
  15. SoA would have loved to hear about that. Reason I say the best dealer I been to was Cherry Hill, NJ. I spent hours playing Crusin world arcade for free waiting on the new ECU to make it there. Adventure lost my business from that. Could care less if they had the parts I needed for this build for dirt cheap since Fred Beans is no more online.
  16. Yep, seams to be the common issue with this thread. What I ended up doing after the CarID ones fell through in the beginning. 1 side cost $2 more tho.
  17. I think earlier here they said the BJ's were larger than normal.
  18. Not really. Still sitting on shelf as I'm gonna order more items to update my rust bucket.
  19. What is his insurance tow radius for in and out of town? If on FB, NEOSOC is the locals in this part of town MWSOC for NASIOC. If you say a prayer, LERSOC may be helpful. The guy I got Legacy parts from doesn't even come here often, I'll try him in the AM. He have any prior issues like blown turbo or heavy oil consumption?
  20. Did she stop at get go Mayfield and South Belvoir. last few times I spotted a 4 gen turbo was Eton plaza around summer time.
  21. Spotted again in the wild. Seems to be my only 4 gen action, is there any 4 gens left on the road? http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k280/merc6/LGT/5456BE27-960C-419A-AF14-54810CACB88F_zpsa2yu095h.jpg~original Check your oil level when you get gas. What cool tech and what color did you get? I miss that dealership, the F4's discount was there IIRC when it was around. I'm always out that way @ Tim Lally as my DD is always broke. Lost the power steering the other day, adventure time literally.
  22. I'm just East of that in "East Cleveland Heights". The cops actually sit in that grassy median. The LRR tires the eco gas has pisses off t/c and stabilitrac if you take an onramp higher than 60. Tuned, the tires spin before the light can come on to let you know the system stopped the spin. If you ever looking for cheap forged light oem, eco is the way to go. Google sonic eco and pics show up for what they look like on the car. 10 airbags, You could go w/o the seat ones. Having 06 seats in my 05 legacy for the longest until I got the 05 seat bottom had me staring at airbag light for ages. Original owner put a rally sticker over the passenger one. Good to hear it went though! In for pics.
  23. Remember the Sonic has that damn armrest attached to the drivers seat only. If it's like the Cruze, there's only 2 nuts holding them to the floor and then the seats slide back. I'm over here trying to find LTZ/2LT/Diesel heated leather seats for super cheap. I'd have to try them all out as I never really dealt with real racing seats/harness setup.
  24. LOL no pics but she is a member here as well. I think her last post was in MrLuvs light thread.
