  1. I’m pretty damn certain that’s a yes. My rear lines are stock to the caliper, but my front lines are aftermarket. Still though I think it’s all OE fit with Brembo calipers
  2. Looks great. Also what lip is that? I’d love something subtle like it.
  3. A lot of the additional shift linkage bushings create significant NVH in my experience that I’m not always a fan of even though my wagon is a fun car and not a daily driver. I’ve actually been reluctant to install some of the bushings I’ve had on hand for years bc I’m quite happy with the shifting characteristics with just a short shifter.
  4. Install that short shifter.. It’s a fantastic upgrade over stock even without any additional bushings and takes less than an hour to do.
  5. I’d be ok with $8k for my wagon if totaled, but only if I could buy it back for next to nothing, and keep/sell everything salvageable
  6. There should be a fitting that comes with the GS intercooler to make it compatible. This guy:
  7. One other vehicle I’ve been eyeballing is the Ford Maverick. I’ve read the 2.0 ecoboost tunes very well and with some mods can be a fun daily driver. I think they look great too esp with sportier wheels and slightly lowered. A manual trans is a must for me for a non-daily driver, which I’m very grateful my wagon is for me also.
  8. Might be wise to note your location, and the wheel specs (stamped on the inboard spindles). If somewhat nearby I’d maybe grab these from you for my Forester
  9. I’m a big fan of the new VB WRX, and they would be on my very short list for an immediate replacement vehicle if something tragic happened to my wagon.
  10. It’s basically impossible to find something that has everything my wagon does or that I don’t actually want. If my budget were $50k then it becomes a conversation, but as long as my wagon is structurally sound, I can upgrade it to my wildest dreams and still be waaay under budget. Why trade down when it’ll cost me twice as much to do so. I’ll probably buy a Porsche to replace my wagon one day.
  11. Good summer tires can handle wet conditions without issue. Once cold becomes a factor, it’s acceptable to discuss summer and winter tires. All-season tires don’t have a place in any serious tire conversion, but that’s just my opinion.
  12. I think you’ll be very happy with that wheel and tire combo. I ran something similar on my lowered wagon awhile ago, 18x8.5 +48 with a 235/40/18 I believe, without any modifications to the fenders and no rubbing. Pretty sure SBT runs the same wheel specs without issue too
  13. I didn’t have to confront her bc she admitted fault in a text to me, but they still ruled in her favor at first. Thankfully when I got my rage under control I got them the change the decision bc of that text she sent. You might have to prove the other person is lying, which isn’t always easy. Her 2020 Mercedes suv was perpendicular in the road in reverse in traffic, ran into the side of my car, and she said I hit her.. I’m getting a dash cam for myself this Xmas
  14. I was thinking about putting my snow tires on the wagon too, which I haven’t bothered with in a couple years now. Probably smart to have it ready in case I want or need to drive it this winter. My forester passed over 180k miles last week, and I haven’t put my winter tires in it either yet. Some lady ran into my Forester last week and lied to insurance claiming I ran into her. It was a horrible experience, but I was able to prove she lied and reversed the fault back onto her policy..
  15. Hold on a sec. The D25 heads from an 08 LGT bolted up to the EJ257 will lower the compression ratio bc of the piston dish change if I’m not mistaken. Doesn’t that change the tuning requirements?
  16. Seems a couple members are having issues with their Koni struts lately. I had a full set for 8 years and 80k miles that were removed 3 years ago bc one of my rear springs actually snapped, but the struts were still working great. I’d assume it’s the upper mount before the strut, but maybe Koni quality control is going down hill. Also check your sway bar endlinks and bushings, they’ll clunk very quickly if they’re old or dry
  17. I sent him a set of assemblies already done and done. And I had a set of Konis that the springs failed before the struts did fwiw
  18. Anyone else see the driveshaft mod that was going around on FB? It was some sort of housing that attaches to the existing support, and the company was starting a group buy for like $230. https://www.jxbperformance.com/products/subaru-legacy-bl/bp-4th-gen-driveshaft-center-support-bearing-carrier-upgrade
  19. Those Prodrives are niiiice, def look like US wagon fit. Please buy them shralp, you deserve them
  20. The general advice is to stick as close to OEM as possible, but you’ll want to avoid new OEM prices. Look for a rebuilder that offers OEM core exchanges. Last time I did it was many years ago, but I used CVJ Axles and had a great experience. Or rebuild it yourself.
  21. CryoTune performance. Dave’s(?) been an active tuner/member on the forum for a decade. I follow his social media, I think he has his own shop now and does a lot of nice work by the looks of it.
  22. I looked at a couple part diagrams, but couldn’t figure it out for sure
