  1. Hello All, so I am having a little issue with the car overheating. A few weeks ago I took the ol' girl out around town. Nothing major. On the way back home it overheated and blew coolant all over. I was close enough to make it home. The car sat for a few weeks before I was able to see what was going on. I noticed that the top radiator hose had a slash in it. Easily changed that but naturally the problem persists. I'm going to pull the thermostat and replace that next. Any advice should that not work? Thanks!
  2. Hey All, I have an '07 Legacy GT wagon. I need to get my front axels replaced. Any suggestions? Not sure if this would impact anything, but the car is lowered. Thanks for the help!
  3. Hi All! Dicky here. recently picked up an ‘05 Legacy and have been having a few issues. I’ve had a problem with the car stalling out at low rpm as soon as the clutch is engaged (low speeds - 1st gear). Once I get going, I’ve not noticed a problem. Vacuum leak? The e-brake doesn’t hold but that may be a simple adjustment. The rear passenger window doesn’t go down. I can hear the motor trying to work, but nothing happens. Most recently, the ABS light has come on. Haven’t had the time to check anything out, but I’m open to suggestions. Also, any suggestions for a new head unit would be greatly appreciated. I can’t stand the radio and would kill to listen to my own music. Thanks in advance! ~Dicky
  4. @Pleides I'll definitely post photos as I do some work. There are a few issues that I'd like to tackle. The car has issues stalling out at idle and has cut out a few times at low speeds when the clutch is engaged. The rear-passenger side window doesn't go down either. It's not a huge concern, but would love to get it fixed. The e-brake also needs adjusting or some new shoes - it doesn't hold at all. All-in-all the car is really fun to drive. I don't have any big plans for it - I'll probably just maintain it as long as I can. I'm open to any input!
  5. Hello All, I just wanted to introduce myself here. The name's Paul (Dicky) and I am the new owner of the '05GT. I've had it since Monday and it's been a lot of fun to drive. I'm sure I'll check back in frequently to keep everyone up to date on the car. If you have any comments or questions, please feel free to reach out. Thanks! Dicky
