  1. If I ever get pulsing or issues with my brakes that I can’t explain, I’ll do a handful of aggressive stops and cool offs like I’m bedding them again, and they’re normal.
  2. Stock air intake is likely the best option until you get well into tuning for power. B8 are for lowering I’m pretty sure, and B6 is for a stock spring. I’m not sure which strut category fits the pink springs best, but yes there’s a transmission and wagon option for front and back pink springs. I’m using Koni struts and H&R springs with a rear spacer, although I’ll probably remove the spacer next time I’m in there.
  3. Wait till Johnny gets a look at this I’d ditch the cold air intake you mentioned and go back to stock intake. Otherwise you’re on a great path with the things you’ve mentioned. Wait till you get those sway bars and mounts installed, it’ll be a whole new car (might consider getting new endlinks too). And JDM pink springs lower minimally, but paired with new bilstein struts, you’ll have a very competent and fun wagon.
  4. I changed over to STi rear parking brake shoes when I did my Brembo conversion. Not the most fun job, but provided me an opportunity to update/replace a lot of the rusty brake components back there. RockAuto has cheap rear parking brake hardware kits.
  5. 200,013 miles! Very proud moment for me today, such an unbelievable car..
  6. Very nice! I got to drive @Code’s LGT the other day, and daaayum it’s fun. AVO BB turbo with about 380whp and STi 6mt.
  7. My only critique is their weight too. I’d love a set for my Forester, but it’s slow enough.
  8. You say “smoke”. If it didn’t smell and it dissipated quickly then it probably wasn’t, and I bet it was water vapor. Any idea when your cabin filter was last changed?
  9. If you’d split the strut top bars I’d likely take the rear one, but I’d need shipping
  10. I have a set of them I don’t need. Cut and drilled, fully refinish, ready for install. I’ll PM you a pic shortly.
  11. Thanks bro! Steering wheel is I think from an 08 STi, bought it from another member here and he wasn’t sure. I haven’t seen many like it bc of the blank/black trim pieces, but I really like it too. Much better condition than my OE momo wheel. Had to trim the back cover to fit cruise control, but easy fix
  12. I have an 05 LGT head unit with Jazzy aux installed that I’d sell, and I just threw away a parrot BT adapter kit for it too. Was using an iPod myself until about 2 years ago when I moved to the JDM DD. JDM DD is soooo much better, sorry
  13. I’d love to buy just the rear trailing arms, but I doubt you’re looking to split the kit. Lmk otherwise
  14. Couple updates pics, and I’m getting very close the 200k club with 199,900 miles on the odo!
  15. Pretty excited to get this installed, and I’ll finally be able to put my Perrin UP blanket to good use
  16. Mines probably a little more hooked up, but man do I love another wagon
  17. If I ever take my headliner out I’ll also be painting it black at the same time. I’ve heard good things about using paint at least, or there’s a good upholstery shop near me. Regardless I’ve always wanted to black out the rest of my interior. Drove and washed my wagon today. 199,855 miles
  18. I’m looking forward to doing all this stuff too once I gather parts. Much appreciated on the write up
  19. Well idk if it’s a super noticeable difference, but smoother idle and maybe a more consistent/healthier power band feel. I like it, but I’m glad I didn’t spend $500 or more. Also my OEM pulley seemed to be in fine shape. No apparent separation or degrading with 200k miles on it.
  20. I set mine at 130ft lbs, but then I upped it a bit and I don’t think the bolt moved any further to be honest. I think it’s on there plenty tight though
