  1. I could do that if I wanted.....just don't want to show off.....just sayin'
  2. Amazon has 3 gallon pack of Rotella T6 right now with a $14.00 rebate for a total of $47.69 for all three with free shipping (I think only if you have prime) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LG3Q6LQ?pf_rd_p=8a3aaa0d-8f6f-4353-b9ec-2e344a586c16&pf_rd_r=2Y603KM6AJRYPEJ65QAC&pd_rd_wg=QXCDr&pd_rd_i=B01LG3Q6LQ&pd_rd_w=saBcH&pd_rd_r=5b997b94-1653-46b9-a41d-1b28fcdfe1ad&ref_=pd_luc_rh_crh_rh_bxgy_03_02_t_img_lh&th=1
  3. Thirlby Automotive in Traverse City Michigan to do the heads. They do about 30-40 sets of Subaru heads a month for the past 20+ years. You're in Milwaukee, but I promise they will be flawless when done and the lash will be set and correct for you to just install and go. I've known them (Thirlby Automotive) for 30 years and they build a number of aluminum 800+ HP circle track engines as well as build offshore race boat engines (and race offshore race boats). They've done probably 8 sets of heads for me, about another 20 sets for friends, and have never had a single issue with any of them. PM me if you want their contact information.
  4. Should be a cable from each head/valve cover to the frame rail on that side. Also, wiggle the cables on both ends to make sure they are not corroded at the connectors.
  5. RRev makes/used to make a lightweight set of PS and alternator pulleys. I purchased them probably close to 10 years ago now. No one else I know of made those parts, so I agree that RRev makes some unique parts and I hope they still are in business.
  6. Have you had the battery checked? The battery is what the car runs on-the alternator is what fills the battery. What about the battery cables and grounds? You can have 2579685 grounds and it won't hurt anything but if you don't have at least 1 solid ground, everything electrical can screw up.
  7. Might have a fuel pump on the verge of failing.
  8. Engine covers are put on for a specific reason by the OE manufacturer. When the EPA does it's initial testing, any sensor, solenoid, check valve, injector, etc. that's not out in the open, is ignored. They will not remove the engine cover to individually test any of these components, so the manufacturers have made it almost to the point that all you see is a large plastic engine cover when you open the hood. When the EPA sees this, they basically just plug into the OBDII port to make sure everything is working correctly, and check emissions at the tailpipe and if it all passes, they allow the car to be built for production. EDIT: What I mean above is for most all vehicles, but there are exceptions as in our LGT engine cover with a directional design to enhance TMIC performance. You can look at a lot of newer cars (Audi, Lexus, VW, Cadillac, etc.) and when you open the hood, you can't see anything other than black plastic covers. The EPA then just does as I explain above.
  9. How far did it jump time? If only a single tooth, it might not be destroyed.
  10. I'm a severe celiac. Believe me, I know what bread I can and can't eat. No such thing as gluten free wheat bread.
  11. No such thing as gluten free wheat bread.
  12. 3M pad on a die grinder. If you are trying to do it by hand, you'll be there for a few years...LOL
  13. I ALWAYS take a 3M pad and buff off the stamping lines on the ends of all brake pads until they're smooth and slide easily in the caliper ways. Then I put 100% silicone grease on the sliding portions and anywhere the pad can touch any cast iron or the caliper piston.
  14. Impreza=Japanese word for Vape Boy
  15. Just finished a Custom VF46 I'll be posting up for sale tonight or tomorrow
  16. You are DEFINITELY the master at finding this kind of stuff.
  17. Hillbilly Thunderstruck. Pretty damn good.
  18. I get the 2/3 bang once in a great while, but 99+% of the time it works fine, so I leave it alone. I've changed fluid and it's the same. I wasn't aware of the turbine speed sensor, but this is great information. Thanks to apexi for the post.
  19. Both have great faces but the smile on Riley's face when your tickling/scratching him is priceless.
  20. What a cute face on that little guy. I KNOW you love him...LOL
  21. Fred and Mary got married. But they can't afford a honeymoon, so they go back to Fred's parent's home for their first night together. In the morning, Johnny, Fred's little brother, gets up and has his breakfast. As he is going out of the door to go to school, he asks his mom if Fred and Mary are up yet. She replies, "No". Johnny asks, "Do you know what I think?" His mom replies, "I don't want to hear what you think! Just go to school." Johnny comes home for lunch and asks his mom, "Are Fred and Mary up yet?" She replies, "No." Johnny says, "Do you know what I think?" His mom replies, "Never mind what you think! Eat your lunch and go back to school." After school, Johnny comes home and asks again, "Are Fred and Mary up yet?" His mom says "No." He asks, "Do you know what I think?" His mom replies, "Ok, ok, tell me what you think!!!" He says: "Last night Fred came to my room for the Vaseline and I think I gave him my airplane glue."
  22. Beyond hideous. I don't even know words other than "Pepto Bismol Puke" that could describe that thing.
  23. Pizza is like Shepherds Pie on a flatbread. All of the leftover vegetables and meat you have and instead of leftover mashed potatoes as the base, leftover bread/roll dough is the base. Nothing is off limits on pizza, so any old stuff in the fridge will do.
  24. Ferrysler Some dimbulb blonde would ride in it thinking she was on top of the world....LOL
