  1. Hp+. Not hard on the rotors, stop great, but do leave a lot of black dust and they're only really good for 2 track days (8-12-solid 20 minute sessions) at best. Once they're down past halfway, I don't use them again as I don't want the heat transfer to the calipers. Even with Ti shims, they can still push a lot of heat into the pistons.
  2. I track my LGT with OE front and rear calipers, Ti shims, Hawk pads, and Centric Cryo blanks. I use either the Wilwood 600 or Motul 600 fluid and freshly flush all fluid before going to the track. I never have fade and they work fine.
  3. Thanks to Cone Killer originally for finding this and then Sparkey for resurrecting it and re-posting it. https://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/sc-power-steering-pump-rebuild-o-rings-239955.html This is not the OE part numbers, however, there are photos and you can see the labels on the source for the o-rings. I would suggest you google the company on the labels (The o-ring store, LLC) and use the part numbers as he has them to purchase these. Perhaps anyone interested could do the same and put together small kits for sale that would make everyone's life a lot easier.
  4. Akebono ceramics. They're not expensive, they don't dust very much, quiet, and they stop fine. I have them on mine with Centric cryo blanks and they work great. I also run the Motul 600 fluid with SS hoses and Ti shims. I don't know if I would run the pads on the track as I think you would be sorely lacking at high speeds.
  5. Thanks to Ryans1000 for finding and posting these Order the two passenger side valve cover vent/equalization hoses on older cars as they are likely to break. both of mine on my 05' GT were corroded on and broke during removal and were not in stock at subaru. the extra heat of the turbo wears down hoses and gaskets. My 2005 gt part numbers were 99071AC010 $10.22 (front) and 99071AC020 $41.22 (rear/firewall/longer hose)
  6. Lighten up Frances. He'll get better and you know it. You love him and you just won't admit it.
  7. Just replaced the Shift Gate light on my friends 2001 Subaru legacy L sedan with the 2.5l engine. The bulb size is 2723. I had tried a 37 as that's what kept coming up in certain places but the 37 is a little bigger and the base is slightly wider. The 2723 was a perfect fit. Getting to it is the same as mentioned earlier in this thread, unscrew the shift knob ( just twists off, no set screws), pull the trim piece around the shifter off and then use a flathead screwdriver to very gently pry up the four tabs of the shifter bezel. Directly underneath that to the left of the shifter is the black plastic holder with the lightbulb in the middle. The plastic piece pulls away from the shifter but the wires are very short so it doesn't move far. The bulb socket turns 1/4 turn out of the black plastic holder and then installation is the reverse once bulb replaced. Just wanted to add this in case anyone on the Internet was having as hard a time as I was looking for this bulb size. Thanks to CloudX27 for posting this.

  18. Oh the pain, the pain. Mostly Honda trash failing and failing spectacularly. I love it when the rear end comes completely off the ground and mashes the nose into the ground. The very end is the funniest of them all though. Funny.....I never seem to have that problem with my 5EAT. Hmmm......
