  1. So I don't know whether or not this can help, but this post seems to solve a problem that I'm having with my airbag light. There's a bunch of information in there that, if nothing else, might help you eliminate potential causes. Good luck! https://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/airbag-light-sometimes-console-problemi-149073p10.html
  2. I actually bought my '08 LGT a month ago, solely because I needed a car in which I could safely transport my daughter (my other option is a '91 240SX), but I also wanted a car that'd be fun for me to drive when she isn't a passenger. When she's in the car, Intelligent mode. When she's not? Sport! Granted, mine is completely stock, as most of my mod dollars go to the 240, but I LOVE having a car that makes an otherwise boring commute to work a little more fun. Just my $0.02. btw, congrats on the second on the way!
  3. Well, now I know at least I was doing it right...
  4. Hello! I'm new to the turbo Subaru community... in the last month, I've definitely gotten waved at from a few WRX's and STi's. Is a turbo Subaru wave a thing? Or are the other turbo Subaru owners now looking at me like I'm crazy for waving at them?? I'm in the Baltimore area, in case this phenomenon is location-specific.
  5. Finally got some pics of my new (to me) '08 GT!! I'm thinking about swapping these very generic rims with something multi-spoke and black. Also considering blacking out the grill like I've seen in some previous posts!
  6. From the comments here, I've come to the conclusion that: 1) The OEM antenna is the best option for using the stock functionality 2) It's an install that I'm likely capable of doing on my own. Thanks everyone for the input, I'll let you know how it goes! Jay
  7. Thank you for that! It looks like I can get the superseded one for a couple hundred bucks, which I think I'm willing to do for the full functionality. However, I've never seen what the antenna actually looks like in the windshield. Is it obstructive? Does anyone happen to have a pic of it installed?
  8. I do, but I'd prefer to work it through the stereo, so I don't have to grab my phone if I want to change stations. Also, I think the subscription is cheaper if I limit it to cars, so I don't mind spending upfront on an antenna to drop the price ongoing.
  9. Hello! I just bought a 2008 GT. The stereo seems to have an input option for satellite radio, but I don't have the antenna on the windshield, so I assume it was an option not purchased. Has anyone had any success attaching an aftermarket satellite antenna to the stock stereo, so that I can use all the stock buttons? Alternatively, is there a resource where I can find the part # of the OEM antenna, or a site where I can purchase one? TIY! Jay
