  1. I have always liked glow shift, have had their wideband and mechanical boost gauge before , the offer a digital gauge with mechanical sensor as well Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk
  2. I have read gas smell associated with cold weather , not the car being cold but same affect on the hoses gets warm in our bays quick. You could have a leak in the evap system and it's bleeding off pressure , or a fuel line leaking a bit when the pump primes Have heard lines under the manifold causing this All guess Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk
  3. That would be great. I really should just buy a manifold at this point I'm just stubborn and refuse to let this manifold get it's way, Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk
  4. Two was almost not tall enough when I test fit , but those backup rings may be the ticket. I'm just dumfounded that gasket and vavle are not replaceable, I guess that's a good valve and has never failed ? Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk
  5. Wow those are cool, never knew they existed. Thank you Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk
  6. I tossed it because it was trashed and I'm and idiot, lol I do have some orings that are the correct diameter but it would require stacking two to get the thickness right , and I'm not super confident it will seal well enough And thanks for doing some digging, at least I didn't totally overlook it Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk
  7. Yep and it it is a check valve, comes off the right side of the pcv tree and into the check Valve on back of intake Same set up for 08-14 WRX but even searching in WRX pats can not locate the check valve or gasket Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk
  8. I have spent an absurd amount of time looking for this gasket. Would love if someone could make me look stupid lol. If you take your manifold off and do some mods or maintenance, don't mess with removing this valve unless 100 percent necessary. If I would have know I would have saved the old hard one and added an o ring Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk
  9. Mine is an 05 , no air pump but had the cat in the up pipe , Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk
  10. I just need the gasket That was going to be my final resort, I do have an o ring assortment and if I double it it may do the job The original is one of those molded orange ones with a tab, like the intake , and throttle body. I just can't believe it can't be purchased Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk
  11. Lol that helps ....I feel stupid now but the threads I had read about deletes where for much newer legacy gt and wrx Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk
  12. On my car this connects directly to the pcv tree. This appears to be a check valve. I need the gasket as mine was toast and leaking. I can not locate this part or the gasket There is no way you have to buy an entire manifold just for this gasket and vavle. I looked it is shared on all like year range legacy gt and WRX Please help I refuse to be beat by this and buy a manifold Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk
  13. I have googled my ass off and for the life of me I can not locate my egr, can not find it anywhere on my car Subaru dealer says egr section is not present in their computer for my year I'm so lost here Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk
  14. Man you got some nice stuff on your set up, really looking forward to seeing it. I'm starting to wish I just paid to have the work done , but with all the things I'm finding that need correcting, would have been a large bill. At this point ,I'm just shooting for late spring to have my build done Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk
  15. The blue hoses are fuel line , but ya Looks like this is just part in question is just a part of the pcv system, unfortunately I still am not finding that gasket on its own Subaru told me I would need to buy a complete intake manifold ... Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk
  16. And wtf is going on here this doesn't look factory lol OMG it just keeps going , everything under this manifold is roached Also found so wires melted so bad there in actually wire exposed amazing it's has been running Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk
  17. Another weird 05 model issue Is this my egr ? And is mine all . mechanical ? Below is a picture of valve and where it connects So the gasket for what I believe is my mechanical egr is toast. Went to Subaru dealer they do not even have egr section in there computer for my vin. This gasket nor valve can be purchased anywhere I can find. Can I just delete this and how would I go about it. I can make a plate and gasket to cover the hole on the intake or purchase a kit but I have no idea what to do with the pcv tree side. Thanks Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk
  18. Ya wile you have it apart plan in intake gaskets, tgv gaskets, throttle body gasket, egr port gasket, and a bunch of vacuum hose. If it's anything like mine you will find they all are in poor shape. I really am not happy with all the extra work but after seeing the state of everything I'm glad I took the manifold apart Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk
  19. Very nice thank you guys How did you go about pulling the pan ? I have exhaust manifold off already. Do I need to pull the subframe, and is it ok to do so wile the car is on ramps ? Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk
  20. This is a shot of the other end of the nipple in question Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk
  21. Ya it would but I don't have or the desire to buy one but that might be required. I guess I'm just going to pull the pan , then I can inspect the old pick up and answer the question Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk
  22. I do believe it's early though as it is not a limited a trim and has cloth , non power seats only found on the 05 and early jdm Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk
  23. How would I check that ? And yes so much confusion. Moroso says it fits, some people say it fit fine on an 05 , some say it fits but it's hitting bottom of pan and that's no good. Real nightmare, I mean I'm at 177k and still running, I would love to leave the stock one in lol. But I already have the exhaust manifold off and don't want it to blow up on the Dyno lol Sent from my Pixel 3a using Tapatalk
