This car to me looks like the current gen corolla. which already looks like a Toyota version of an impreza.

And the 1st gen impreza, which lots of Subie folks consider to be one of the best body styles, looked like a Corolla.

I'm really thinking about getting back in the suby fun again. Old engine not really a bad thing it has been proven to be reliable, it doesn't have a new high pressure fuel pump that would grenade itself if a speck of dust gets in there. Yes I will miss the 35mpg (21mpg is gonna suk) but every time I see a wrx I miss my old '02 blue bugeyed. And I'm older and more mature now and will be able to resist giving the smack down to ricerboyz who will rev up on me and my winged Sti at the stoplight gran prix.

WRX priced starting at: $26,295

They've been there for awhile. I drove by 2 weeks ago and they were just being unloaded.

This is one of those glorious times when looking at a spec panel will give you the wrong idea about a car.

I saw that in the other thread and I still say the FA20 turbo has a hideous torque curve. I wonder how many of those dips and valleys can be tuned out, but then if you start screwing with the tune what's the point in a new car with a warranty.
