cartman
2015 VW Golf R should cost about the same but seem to be a better value. I'll be the golf will take a lot of potential sti customers.

stm25rs
This car to me looks like the current gen corolla. which already looks like a Toyota version of an impreza. And the 1st gen impreza, which lots of Subie folks consider to be one of the best body styles, looked like a Corolla. http://www.jims59.com/carsforsale/images/SOLD%20CARS/93%20Corolla%20rt%20frt%20in%20grass(t).jpg http://www.theautochannel.com/media/photos/subaru/1998/98_subaru_impreza_l_sedan.jpg

bdisco
I'm really thinking about getting back in the suby fun again. Old engine not really a bad thing it has been proven to be reliable, it doesn't have a new high pressure fuel pump that would grenade itself if a speck of dust gets in there. Yes I will miss the 35mpg (21mpg is gonna suk) but every time I see a wrx I miss my old '02 blue bugeyed. And I'm older and more mature now and will be able to resist giving the smack down to ricerboyz who will rev up on me and my winged Sti at the stoplight gran prix. Perscitus
Likely pre-prod mules with VINs that won't go on sale at any of the dealerships. Would be funny if they tried to push them off somewhere come April.
bdisco
http://www.roadandtrack.com/car-reviews/first-drives/2015-subaru-wrx-sti This is one of those glorious times when looking at a spec panel will give you the wrong idea about a car. TrueWhiteBoy
That just cements the WRX for me as soon as I can afford it. Sounds like a perfect DD with the exception of high insurance rates. I'm sure the car will be absolutely amazing in '16 or '17 when they finally upgrade the engine.
Chris GTO TT
http://www.roadandtrack.com/car-reviews/car-comparison-tests/2015-subaru-wrx-vs-sti hmmm I saw that in the other thread and I still say the FA20 turbo has a hideous torque curve. I wonder how many of those dips and valleys can be tuned out, but then if you start screwing with the tune what's the point in a new car with a warranty. 2003 Baja 5MT 2016 Outback 2.5i Premium w/Eyesight

fredrik94087
No WRX nor STI until May in my local showroom. "It's within spec" - SOA "Depth is only shallowness viewed from the side." - Fredism "So, how much did it cost for your car to be undriveable ." - Stephen (very close friend) "You have done so much it would be stupid to go back." - Sunny of Guru Electronics 2018Q50RS | 2015WrxThread | Shrek
Perscitus
Some New England hipsters with Manufacturer plates seem to have them: http://imgur.com/a/WOmwQ The more I see the stock 17s, the more I can't believe they went with those. I'd actually take some steelies with or without hubcaps over these. Or the funky Levorg stock wheels.
