JohnnyT
Thanks for all the input. Much appreciated. This is my DD and I won't be tracking it. I want more HP and low end torque for the street and highway just to make it a little more fun to drive. First, I'll see how healthy the VF40 is and then gort from there. If it's healthy, I'll get a mild tune to 16 psi and see how I like it. If it's not healthy I was think of the following: BNR 16G or 18G, IP Oil line kit, AVO TMIC, Grimspeed or Invidia up and downpipe, Fuel pump, Have it tuned to 20 psi. The tuner does a road tune or can have it dyno tuned. The road tune is $250, so I'll start with that. I don't know if I'll need injectors with that tune though. It seems that most people replace their injectors. I'm not interested in going with the FMIC. I'll have to ask the tuner which 20G he has for sale. Any other comments would be appreciated. Thanks. Turkeylord
You'll be real close to maxing out the stock injectors with the 16g, and definitely with the 18g. I have no experience with these injectors, but the price is sure nice... http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/ca-cosworth-intake-manifold-sf-tgv-deletes-denso-850cc-sf-224064.html?t=224064&highlight=injectors

scoobyscoodle
I would definitely at least go for the $25 billet upgrade, but as far as the 64 trim profile, I'm not sure, you'd have to ask 6SS what the exact differences are. Just the oem profile billet one for $25 extra has extended tips, which is nice.

TheBlackPearl
Damn, that filter seems huge compared to the SS disk filter. Like 5 times more filtering area? Sweet. ibr_adam09
Mmmm, I like my v1, but this v2 looks waay better. Did you make a v2 because some v1 filters were kinking ?
m sprank
We decided to make a V2 kit so that we would have an offering for stock turbos as well as WRX/STi fitment. Without WRX/STi buyers there is no more market. LGT owners think there are FAR more interested buyers than there really are. Major manufacturers have been cutting back 4th gen offerings (meaning killing off existing products) for over a year already due to poor sales. Only saving grace for 4th gen LGT is that 3rd gen WRX share many parts.

Rhitter
Are people still having issues with fitment on these Turbos? Do they still need to be clocked prior to install? Is it such a simple process that it's not even worth mentioning? My OBXT build
m sprank
The ones I have seen, need to be clocked.
Moderators BarManBean Posted May 28, 2014 Moderators Share Posted May 28, 2014 Clocking is easy with an un-pinned turbo like the newer BNRs. Just loosen the nut for the vband clamp and rotate. You can pretty much mate up your intercooler loosely with the vband loose so it can rotate, and then tighten up the nut to lock things in place. odin2347
so how long does it take to get a BNR turbo? I tried to get in contact with them 2 days ago haven't heard back
