  1. Hi! Apologies for the delay, hoping to have these back in stock next week!
  2. Sold my baby today, definitely mixed feelings about that. New owner is a Subaru Ambassador and crazy about Subies. Kept saying this was his dream car/build. I’m sure he will take good care of her. Thanks everyone here for all your support over the years. This community is really something special.
  3. Yep, exactly. I got my dip stick tube o-rings replaced (PITA) and got the undertray replaced. Now I’m just waiting for a door lock actuator to come in and it’s all set for the new owner.
  4. There's also this: https://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/diy-oil-system-priming-tank-214760.html http://i.imgur.com/w71tePZ.jpg
  5. Decided to upload the vid... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HYe-1I-qzY4]Launch[/ame]
  6. Cut a slot in the end of the ignition barrel rod and made a little flat bar piece out of a nickel to put in there. Seems to work ok! I found an ignition cylinder on eBay and the seller accepted my $50 offer, so that’s a solid plan B if needed. Took it for a 20 mile drive, felt great!
  7. Yesterday, finished buttoning up the FPCM module wiring, replaced the fuse, and started putting some of the interior back in. Tonight, pulled apart the ignition cylinder. Going to see if I can fix the broken part, otherwise at least I have the parts needed to re-key a new one. *edit* Just figured out that the broken part is called a "barrel rod". Seems to be available for other makes and models...
  8. Unreliable DD. I think mostly bad luck. Engine is sorted as far as I know now, but I just don’t have time for it anymore.
  9. Replaced the fuel pump output o-ring, fuel return o-ring, and fuel pump harness. Took it for a rip. Fuel prime/pressure issue and intermittent electrical problem appear to be solved. The S4 is waaay slower.
  10. <sigh> I know, I know. The gains here are mostly political with my dear sweet wife. I'm going to try to leave it alone! (see above comment)
  11. Hey trans engines have feelings too you know. It’s an S4, but yes, it is cisengined.
  12. ‘08 S4 6MT. Only 50k on the clock! Definitely a little smaller inside than the LGT though.
  13. Ha! Skipped it this time. Trying to avoid re-crippling my back.
  14. Just shipped out an EBCS fitting order this morning. Glad people are still finding this thread. Thanks Ralph!
