Sean Gage
Just dropped mine off to star subaru for head gasket water pump and timing belt. I asked them to check the tranny to second has a long shift some times whn its cold?!
BeKnwn
Yeah for say the shifting mph the almost double when cold lol. When I go down town it shifts into 4th at like 35-40 rather then 32 like the book says so I end up driving around town in 3rd at 2k rpms till it warms up then it shifts so I'm sure theyres nothing wrong with your tranny I would be worried when it slams and makes grinding sounds or going up to 6k to shift out of 1st cause of slipping lol

BeKnwn
So I was having power issues for a long time now I couldn't redline or get anything anymore car/engine felt slow on take offs and overtaking. so I took a volt meter and tested the throttle sensor and it was working perfectl at .554volts w/ key off and on so I tighten the gas peddle wire as tight as it can go with the sensor was reading at .559volts w/ key on .But now the gas peddle is all tight and car runs amazingly and perfect I have all my power back I smashed on it to test it I got instant power and redline went from 10 to 40 in a couple seconds it was amazing to have power back I would recommend everyone else to do it if they're car/peddle feels sluggish
BrandonJ 2001 GT Limited
Where is the sensor located? Inside @ the pedal assembly or under the hood? Was there something on the sensor you tightened or did you tighten the physical cable that goes from the pedal to the TB?
BeKnwn
The sensor is on the passenger side of the throttle body there's 3 wires black/ground, red/power, yellow/signal which the yellow one is the one you want to poke with the volt meter and just find a good ground for the meter i used my tower strut bar was the best ground I could use lol while the key is on not started and I adjusted the cable on the driver side of the intake manifold set the meter to .000 so you can get a good dial in just don't go to .56v and if you hear a buzzing noise you are doing way to much lol I got probably a good 3 or 4 threads on the bolt before it was nice a snug
BrandonJ 2001 GT Limited
Yeah I noticed a lot of slack in mine...I may adjust it some after work.
BeKnwn
Yeah its night and day difference just adjust it with the volt meter in the sensor wire and key on its quite an annoying battle back and forth with meter numbers and throttle cable took me a while to get it just right lol I think the Manuel says the volts are supposed to be around .45v~.55v but mine was stuck at .55v with the sensor all away back so then I just did the throttle cable. I did notice though my P0420 CEL came on earlier then it usually does so I'm wondering if its probably from the gases not getting as hot as they should be and throwing the cel early cause I have to egg shell the gas peddle lol so I'm hoping this will help save gas possible? If I'm not smashing it around town now that I can only time will tell plus I got a lot of fixing with my exhaust anyways lol

octain11
They are speedlines! I think they are euro versions? What do ya know about em? I don't know about those exact versions, but I have always wanted speedlines, they are very high quality rims, expensive and rare to find in the States. Subaru Rally team used Speedlines in the WRC.
