.Catalyst.
I've had those for over a year, and we don't get salt, but plenty of snow and ice melt agent on the roads in the winter. No rust for me. Much better look vs. the RAs IMHO. My spec.B [#163] Project Thread with Pictures Get CryoTuned!
Silinc3r
I know you said you like the splash guards, but better take them off now as it will start to rust under and behind it in a few years, unless you don't see snow and salt but then you still get rain. All of my 3 previous cars had rust with those slash guards Haha, not sure if you saw my location but I live in mobile Alabama so no snows for me but I will keep and eye on it. My other 2 legacys havents had a problem yet but they have the liners removed SO that helps. Silinc3r's 05 SWP GT/Spec B

Silinc3r
So over the weekend I finally had the time to do the suspension swap to the BC BR coilovers. Had issues initially with hardware being seized so I just bought all new hardware. http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0141.jpg http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0145.jpg And so I would never have problems again I used the same techniques I use working on aircraft. http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0146.jpg And this was odd, notice the difference http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0147.jpg http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0148.jpg Finished http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0149.jpg http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0151.jpg Still have a little fine tuning to do. BrownBoy
Looking good. I always knew the SWP and specB red interior was going to be a good combo. Been waiting to see it. This only confirms my thoughts. Any reason you went with SpecB wheels rather than aftermarket, especially since you have coilovers?

Silinc3r
Alright so BIG update 8/21 Repaired and painted the Spec B rims, rebuilt and painted stock rear calipers and Brembos. All 4 rotors turned and new pads installed with Stoptechs. H&R 15mm spacers with extended studs installed as well. Muteki lug nuts. On a side note I have a 90 Miata with no ABS and a 91 Legacy Turbo. When I bled the brakes I did it like 3 times because I had forgot what the LGT brakes felt like, mushy. I was like this can't be right but that is how they are. Kind of gives you an idea of the extreme colors. http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0582.jpg http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0583.jpg http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0612.jpg http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0611.jpg http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0610.jpg http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0609.jpg New boots http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0605.jpg Stock rear caliper bracket bolts http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0604.jpg Turned rotors for the Brembo fronts. Silinc3r
Alright so just ordered my AEM UEGO Wideband, Prosport 52mm Halo, and the cubby pod from IAGperformance. Can't wait to get some reading and have something to look at. This will atleast hold me over until I buy the STi gauge pack. Silinc3r
So instead of going out with friends on a Saturday night I decided to spend 12 hours working on the interior of the car! Finally installed some gauges with the cubby pod. AEM UEGO wideband and Prosport Halo boost gauge. I also installed an air filter since mine never had one, cleaned up some wiring from the previous owner and installed my Spec B steering wheel. I am very pleased with the way it came out and love the location I found for the pressure sensor. Used this thread for wiring up of the gauges using the clock. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/prosport-halo-electric-boost-gauge-cubby-install-190307.html Used this thead for wiring up the Spec B wheel. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/install-steering-wheel-radio-controls-26232.html http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0673-1.jpg Spliced into the clock http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0672-1.jpg Pressure sensor location. http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0670.jpg http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0669-1.jpg Well after 10 years and 100,000 miles it finally has a cabin air filter! http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0667-1.jpg Unfortunately I had to do some cutting to get the best fittment with the AEM wideband http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0665-1.jpg http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0663-1.jpg Silinc3r's 05 SWP GT/Spec B
Silinc3r
Installed my BulletProofed TIMIC today, along with AVO throttle hose and blue tee replacement . Had the TMIC put together from BarManBean himself! So I just happened to see that he was selling his stock one and had him do the BP to it. Just nice knowing it is done correctly. Here is a picture of the underneath of the 2nd stock TMIC. The BulletProof TMIC is the 3rd since I have owned the vehicle. You can see one of the tabs is broken off and the other 2 aren't even holding. http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/14751291-3100-4a65-b2b7-89694af61506.jpg http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0683.jpg http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0684.jpg Also painted the TM black with DEI silicone spray good for 1500*F.
