Silinc3r
Picked this beauty up over the weekend in Atlanta. Was very lucky to find this in Atlanta for the price and low miles. Its not the Limited but it is everything else I wanted, color, 5spd, GT, black interior. Also came with a fair amount of goodies . 2005 Unlimited GT 5spd Satin White Pearl 82033 miles upon purchase http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0675.jpg http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0673.jpg http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0672.jpg http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0671.jpg http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0669.jpg http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0668.jpg I am guessing this was done to keep the car from throwing a O2 code http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0664.jpg http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0663.jpg http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0661.jpg If anybody recognizes this car please let me know because I would like to know what all has been done. Haight 05LGT
It has an Aftermarket uppipe. Or possibly an STi uppipe. That connector you found is for the OEM uppipe. Price.
Waxiboy
I bet you also have a catless up pipe, hence the resistor.

Hepy117
Looks like it has an aftermarket DP also. Might want to get a vagcom cable and pull the map to make sure it's tuned properly.

Silinc3r
And you can see this how? you can see it in the picture with the plug that has the resistor in it yea I am pretty sure it needs a tune, its a little rough when I step on it but other than that no problems and I got 26 MPG from Atlanta to Mobile and that was with doing some power trials Silinc3r's 05 SWP GT/Spec B

.Catalyst.
Pretty sure that's an aftermarket DP. In the EGT sensor harness picture with the resistor - you can see a WBO2 bung welded in and lack of upper cat that would be present in an OEM DP. Also, you will want an engine cover if you plan on running that OEM TMIC. Also should "bulletproof" it since you are likely running a Stage 2 tune, (BarManBean is working on a new batch). If you need an OEM engine cover I happen to have one that's perfect I'm willing to part with The engine cover helps seal the splitter to the TMIC. Haha you are so right...I retract my previous statements. I did not look past the sensor in the picture. Good call. Definitely aftermarket. Cone_Killer
Bilstein's look fairly new. That is a nice pre-purchase upgrade.

Silinc3r
Yes they are only on the rear. Not sure which car or year they came off of though. Silinc3r's 05 SWP GT/Spec B
Screamin
Nice purchase. My .02.... Tune, which has already been stated many times so far. Get your uppipe and downpipe wrapped up. You should also, IMO, get a turbo blanket or at the least a turbo heat shield. You have LOTS of heat coming off all 3 parts and need to get your under hood temps under control. Your intercooler I'm sure is getting heat soaked like a mofo.
Silinc3r
I guess I should have wrote what my plans where to do so no one would have to keep repeating one another. However I would think the intercooler is good traveling in triple digit speeds, JK. Silinc3r's 05 SWP GT/Spec B
.blackgt.
Question for you all. Do you see the rubber coolant hose that makes a hump over the intake tube? It is turning white. This is due to coolant. Do these hoses crack or seep at all? Mine is doing the same thing and there are no visible leaks at the union where it meets the hard line. Just curious if people see this problem alot on that specific hose. Thanks.

Silinc3r
Huh nice catch, didn't reall pay much attention when at the dealership. Noticed it but didn't think about it. However this is for the expansion tank line only and should only see heat if there is an over heat or fire. Also drove the car from Atlanta to Mobile and didn't have any problems so I'll keep an eye on it incase there is a pin hole in the hose. Thanks for pointing it out. Silinc3r
So little update, have been saearching around on things I need to do after purcahasing the vehicle; oil/filter change, tranny and rear diff fluid change and came across the warranty on the wheel bearings. The innitial warranty was through 08/07/09 and was extended annother 40,000 and 36 months to 08/31/2012. So I went to Subaru dealership and went to ask about it and he showed me that I just missed the expiration but to call SOA and see what they can do. The part is only 135 dollars so I might just end up doing it myself as it will just be easier and cheaper for me to go that route but I'll still check. Also upon pulling up my VIN# he was able to show what all had been done to the vehicle adn it showed the right rear had all ready been replaced. ALSO I found the option that where equiped and found a nice little goodie- T5A or also known as a Short Throw Shifter. So for anyone interested in buying any SUBARU grab the VIN# and go to a dealership and have them pull up the information. I didn't think/know about it when I was buying the car but I know now. CARFAX did not show all of this information. Silinc3r's 05 SWP GT/Spec B
Silinc3r
So a small update. Finally got some stock splash guards which I am a fan of. Not really into the RA mud flaps. http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0901.jpg http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0888.jpg http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0889.jpg http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0890.jpg http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0891.jpg http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0892.jpg http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0895.jpg http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0896.jpg http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0897.jpg http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0898.jpg http://i733.photobucket.com/albums/ww331/TonyHamre/05%20GT/IMAG0900.jpg And trying to decide between the STi Enkei golds or Prodrive GT1s Silinc3r's 05 SWP GT/Spec B
lee07
I know you said you like the splash guards, but better take them off now as it will start to rust under and behind it in a few years, unless you don't see snow and salt but then you still get rain. All of my 3 previous cars had rust with those slash guards
