Humble Rumble
Anyone got pictures of 245/40/19 on 19x9 or 9.5 wheels? Mine are 245/40/19 on 19x8.5, which is pretty square, so figure a bit more stretch than this: http://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=5616987&postcount=1122 2012 Legacy 3.6R Build Thread 5th Gen Legacy BM/BR Body Kit Compendium Thread

cerrone
] [ [/img] Any suggestion about what color brake calipers I should go with? Blue, red, grey or black? Metallic or not? I was thinking about dark blue metallic ones....
JJacek
Prodrive GT1 18 7.5, ET48 in Anthracite Gloss. Colour is ok but now I wonder if Hyper Silver would be better. I bought them in UK, thanks to pound being so low: http://oi67.tinypic.com/29yo2g8.jpg

I JET
Picked up a set of Enkei RS05RR 18x8.5 et42 for my gen 5 wagon. Still trying to decide on rubber size though. Either 235.45.18 or 245.45.18. The 235 will give me an extra 4.5mm on the side wall and have a little stretch vs an extra 9mm sidewall on the 245 with a squared off look. Both will help correct the speedo error and fill the gaurds. I'm leaning towards the 245s but concerned they may look a bit too beefy with the low ride height. Any pics of either tyre set up / helpfull sudgestions would be greatly appreciated. Car currently sitting on oem 18s 225.45.18 with 20mm hubcentric spacers. Which ever tyre I end up with I would adjust the coilovers so the guard sits just above the tyre. I've seen a few pics in this thread with 245.45.18 but most of them had stock ride heights. Maybe I didn't go back far enough. http://i.imgur.com/dWcdviQ.jpg http://i.imgur.com/OHvMd0o.jpg Edited May 15, 2018 by I JET

My Rotas are 18x8.5 et38 and I'm running 245 45 R18. Ever since I installed my H&Rs, I rub the inner plastic wheel well lining when driving fast (~60 mph) and hitting dips (not necessarily bumps). Now, if i turn left while hitting a dip, my tire rubs the fender lip and deforms it outward . This is something I'm in the process of taking care of - i.e. making an appt and rolling my fenders - but for what it's worth that is my experience. Next summer I will most likely be purchasing 235 40 R18.
I JET
Ended up going with the 245.45.18 tyre. We fitted a 245.45 on the front and a 245.40 on the back to compare each size. While the 45 profile looks a little more plump......it filled the guards so much better. The 245.40 just looked too small for the car. I'll post up some better photos tomorrow. Just a couple photos from the gas station tonight. http://i.imgur.com/5DSPKSE.jpg http://i.imgur.com/CAGZrzv.jpg http://i.imgur.com/RswP0ko.jpg Edited May 16, 2018 by I JET

Wannabegt
Info on the wheels? They’re 18” HD Pypz, Iridium Black. Bought them on Craigslist about a year ago. The guy was using them on his Monte Carlo, but the tires are about as wide as they can be before they start rubbing when I turn haha.
marcusdo
Hey guys, I'm really new to this forum and it's really confusing so hopefully I can get some answers here. I was wondering if I could run a 18x9.5 with 38 offset with Tein S Tech lowering springs without pulling or rolling my fenders. I tried looking at the sticky for wheel guides but that just made me confused. Thanks if anyone can help me.
