  4. Pulled my lights yesterday to try out wrapping....lesson learned, leave them on the car. Not sure how I feel, much darker than I wanted. I may rip it off later today lol Sent from my Mi 9T Pro using Tapatalk
  5. Join Fifth gen. It's not the most technical but still a decent place for discussion...I find the 5th gen legacy group not very active at all. But for all things technical, this forum is well renowned. Any Facebook group will post links to this forum to answer most technical questions anyway. Sent from my Mi 9T Pro using Tapatalk
  6. Ask and ye shall receive.... Sent from my Mi 9T Pro using Tapatalk
  7. Fresh paint, satin finish Sent from my Mi 9T Pro using Tapatalk
  8. Today I finally picked up my car after 3 weeks of the painter taking his sweet time....worth the wait WRX bumper mod worked flawlessly....next up quad tips. Sent from my Mi 9T Pro using Tapatalk
  9. That silver looks really good behind those wheels on a silver car. [emoji1474] Sent from my Redmi 4X using Tapatalk
  10. Brembo rebuild day 1....let's hope I remember how to put them back together [emoji85] Sent from my Redmi 4X using Tapatalk
  11. It's been a few days for me as well after changing the rad cap....so far results are good. I haven't heard the gurgling noise after a flush and new rad cap. Hopefully problem solved. Sent from my Redmi 4X using Tapatalk
  12. That not how it works....if you have the same sized tire stretched on a wider rim, you aren't squared. You have a smaller rolling diameter at the rear. Sent from my Redmi 4X using Tapatalk
  13. I have a similar issue going on but it seems like the coolant is at returning to the radiator instead. I've heard sloshing when the car warms up as well so I'm trying all the cheap fixes before I go straight to the head gasket. Did a flush, it's better but something still isn't right. I ordered a new radiator cap from the dealership today. I'll update if this fixed the problem.... Sent from my Redmi 4X using Tapatalk
  14. I tried plastidip on my grill and I've inspected it up close on some friends cars, not really a fan. I'll be taking my wheels off this weekend while my car gets painted. I'll post some results from the superwrap sometime next week. If I don't like it, I'll peel it and try powder coating. Sent from my Redmi 4X using Tapatalk
  15. Installed the heat shield....only 2 bolts survived and only 2 spots on the car survived to attach it. I need to look under there more often. Sent from my Mi 9T Pro using Tapatalk
  16. Picked up the remaining parts for my brembo install. Today I picked up my rotors and pads, and the proper threaded bolts. If I can get the rear rotors drilled for 5x100 tomorrow I'll start the install on the weekend. I also grabbed a heat shield as the one behind my splash shield was rusted away, literally half is missing from corrosion. Someone also mentioned Superwrap in another thread. After a couple YouTube reviews I decided to try it out, delivery came today as well. Looks like I'll have an annoyed wife in the coming weeks.....if you need me, I'll be in the garage ....again. 17. My bumper modification is under way....my quad tip dream will soon be a reality. Thankfully my cousin also had the same dream and decided he would experiment on my car before his own lol Sent from my Mi 9T Pro using Tapatalk
  18. Just to add to the shipping situation....I ordered something from Russia back on May 5th. It was held in the Russian warehouse for 10 days before being released. Canada Post is still waiting for it to arrive.... If waiting is not your thing, I would be very hesitant on ordering anything outside of North America. I've ordered and received a number of items from Rockauto and other sources without issue. I would stay away from anything that requires crossing an ocean until this covid situation calms down. 19. I have a similar situation....I was originally gonna buy a set of spacers for my OEM winter wheels, but now I'm looking at a buying a new setup. Still not comfortable with spacers for some reason.... I'll probably buy a set of 17s then sell my OEMs to recoup some of the damage. Sent from my Mi 9T Pro using Tapatalk
  20. Will your gold steelies fit over the Brembos? Sent from my Mi 9T Pro using Tapatalk
  21. Ok, I'll try the ones I purchased....thanks for all the info Sent from my Mi 9T Pro using Tapatalk
  22. I just ordered a set of STI braided lines from Rockauto. They showed up today and I noticed they have a bend. It's not the full 90 degree, more like 45. Will these work or should I send them back? I grabbed the powerstop ones since they are wrapped in pvc, extra protection from the Canadian winters. I'm still a couple weeks away before I'm ready to complete the install so sending them back or selling them won't be an issue, I'll just order another set. Sent from my Mi 9T Pro using Tapatalk
  23. Yes, thanks GTeaser. They are on the parts list I am accumulating as we speak. Brake lines were shipped today, my rotors are also on the way and I already have a shop waiting to redrill the rears for me. Should be installed in about 2 weeks [emoji16] Sent from my Mi 9T Pro using Tapatalk
  24. Ok, thanks for confirming Sent from my Mi 9T Pro using Tapatalk
