Mega Users seabass07 Posted February 20, 2012 Mega Users Share Posted February 20, 2012 I haven't found one, but realistically it should be like any other 07. Everything's the same except for the transmission and suspension, right? Regardless, we've seen the maps hes running on and he should be hitting 15+ psi. I don't think a vf46 would require drastically different wastegate control than a vf40. Just tweaks I think. Edit* I just compared the stock wastegate maps for my 05 and the 07 specB. The numbers should be similar at WOT. However I didn't know the 07+ ecu's map boost to requested torque instead of throttle plate angle.
iNVAR
Yeah, I meant any other 07/08 SpecB OR LGT, sorry. I've been told in another thread that the VF46 has a different restrictor pill from the VF40. Who knows.... maybe someone just popped in the wrong restrictor. Could be as simple as that. Hepy117
Well I just ref lashed with the stock rom. My CEL is constant, cruise light and the SI-mode letter is blinking on my dash?
iNVAR
Did you remember to unplug the green connector?
Mega Users seabass07 Posted February 20, 2012 Mega Users Share Posted February 20, 2012 Hmmm. that's scary. Figure out what the cel's are with learning view. If they weren't there before, then someone must have disabled them. I hope it's nothing major. or it's the green plug like iNVAR said.
Hepy117
Yeah I turned my key to off, unplugged the connectors, turned my key to on until the seatbelt chime stopped, turned on my car. I let it run for like 30 seconds and turned it off, then let it sit for about a min and restarted and it was still on/blinking
iNVAR
Do what SB says. Pull the CEL codes with LV.

iNVAR
Just realized something interesting. Your LV engine speed rows are crazy... 12000 RPM? I've seen that before on someone else's thread too. Get the newest version of LV. See if that helps. http://www.romraider.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=7397
Hepy117
I have learning view 6a which is the latest I am seeing on romraider whoops just saw you posted the newest Here is a screenshot:
iNVAR
Still strange that your CEL would be on though.... wtf. Assuming you got the right ROM and your car is an 07 Spec B, and ECUFlash succeeded and verified, this shouldn't be happening. Hmm.... Unless there actually is something wrong with the car. Hepy117
ECUflash said it succeeded. Would possibly driving the car clear the CEL's? This is the rom I downloaded off of romraider: 2007 USDM Subaru Legacy GT spec.B MT A2UG000L 4B12785007
iNVAR
No, I don't believe that CEL will clear from driving. ROM looks right, matches your other one. Argh...
Hepy117
Well I just searched for the P2011 code on the site and everything I am seeing is that people get this code when they do the TGV deletes? God I am so frustrated with this already.

Mega Users seabass07 Posted February 20, 2012 Mega Users Share Posted February 20, 2012 I think now would be a good time to talk to that seller again.
iNVAR
The previous owner(s) haven't replied to you?
iNVAR
Open up the ROM that you saved prior to flashing... the one you were running originally. and check the Check Engine Codes to see if they were disabled compared to this one.
Hepy117
I talked to the seller I bought it off of. He had no clue anything was changed (tune or any hardware performance wise)
iNVAR
Oh, and according to another LGT poster, your load and RPM ranges (5.00+ load and 12000 RPM) are actually right... comes from Subaru that way. I wonder why....
Hepy117
Well every code that is thrown on the LV is OFF on the rom I pulled
iNVAR
Which.... is not a good sign. Someone disabled them on purpose. Whether for a good purpose (they did some sort of mod that required it) or a bad one (something's broken) is to be determined. Either way, you need to get to the bottom of this. Are you the second or third owner?
Hepy117
Well I am going to try and get a hold of the original owner and see what I can find out.
