The braces on the right of my pic is right next to the rear diff.

Hmm I don't think the front ones would fit with my Tanabe underbrace. The bolts that are in the rear of that cusco brace are the ones it mounts I am pretty sure.

Did you remove the existing braces to fit the underbrace?

No it mounts on top of that brace though which has a flat surface. I just can't tell whether or not the rounded section that dips down on those bolts would affect how it mounts. Maybe when Striker gets them mounted and takes better pictures I'll be able to tell.

I will take pics and do a DIY guide on how to install the braces as I usually do.

As I continue waiting for the suspension from RaceComp

List of things for next purchases -

Primitive Racing Skidplates

GTSPEC Rear Lower Control Arm w/ camber adjustment

Whiteline Roll-center Bump Steer Kit - KCA 313

Hawk HPS brake pads

Mach V Braided brake lines

Random thought. I test fitted a friends spoiler that he had from his old STI. If I remember correctly, it was a JDM spoiler that he bought. It looks similar to the one in the link.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/SUBARU-2002-2007-IMPREZA-WRX-GD-S204-REAR-WING-TRUNK-SPOILER-WITH-LED-LIGHT-/271102939563?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Year%3A2004%7CMake%3ASubaru%7CModel%3AImpreza%7CSubmodel%3AWRX+STI%7CEngine+-+Liter_Display%3A2.5L&hash=item3f1efe91ab&vxp=mtr

When I tried it out, it looked decent and "fits" with the trunk design. Normally I wanted the JDM spoiler for our gen to put on my car, but is this another viable option that looks decent?

Since everyone is bumping there up, might as well bump mine.

But in seriousness, I want to upgrade my brakes. I'm planning to do new rotors, stainless steel brake lines, ATE blue brake fuild, Hawk HPS pads.

What should I look at for rotors?

I bought some DBA's for my fronts... fit? we'll see! Why DBA? Quite a highly respected rotor on other forums and internationally... I just need a nice weekend to do them. Bought hawk HPS for the pads.

Here is the thread that I asked on the fitment...

With the Brembos, currently have DBA5000s on the front, and Centrix Premiums on the rear.

My preference is the slotted for the looks but they also allow the discs to expel built-up brake dust every time you tap those brakes.

The Centrixs are pretty darn good rotors for all around use ... have a front set of these as well.

Blanks. No holes or slots.

This. Slots give you a weak spot for the rotors to crack.

Also most shops won't resurface slotted rotors.

I'm looking to get some slotted rotors. I will take a look at those DBA and Centrixs rotor.

n00b question, for some odd reason I can't remember if a Hawk HPS pads come with 1 or 2 sets.

When you buy a "set" of pads it always comes with 4, two for each side. Front and rear are always different sets too. So all in all you will have 8 pads, 2 per rotor.

Also forgot to mention that unless your rotors are seriously worn I wouldn't bother replacing them. Just do lines, fluid, pads and make sure you bed them in properly.
