2013 Audi A4 Allroad

Recommended Posts

I ordinarily HATE audis. a lot.

But I have to admit...I kinda like the look of this one. I wonder whether it'll come here, and, if so, whether it'll be available with a manual...?

Wow... I actually like that.

I know, I was surprised too. I don't particularly like the new regular A4, or even the S4. But this one...I even like the interior. Just gimme a manual option.

I've always liked a few of the audi's but this one is  (very cool)

The only modern audi I've liked before this one was the RS6 wagon from a few years back, and that was never a realistic option for any number of reasons. But this might actually work in the real world. I just hope they don't price it too ridiculously.

I like it and find it quite sexy, a coworker of mine has an older Allroad 2.7 TT? and he was saying that he had to replace the suspension 3 times while it was under warranty.

I guess the part that raised/lowered it kept breaking.

Definitely seemed like a fun car though.

Audi just refreshed their A4 line and added another 1.8 tubo engine for a combined 23 engine and tranny choices. That is too much.

I desperately want an S4 and I admit I like this allroaf. It is the new high tech Subaru Outback of yester-year.

Single biggest reason I went LGT over allroad. That and the fact the allroad has two of everything, so it's more expensive to mod.

Yes it is. Way too much money tied up in developing tooling just to make them all.

Although I do understand there is a 300hp diesel V6 that can be fit to this platform (A4/Allroad) I'd love to see one of those.

I definitely like this thing. I'd prefer mono-chrome white, or at least a little tone-down of the unpainted bits.

I like the interior a LOT, but I don't like the divergent center console and dash joint (like the <2005 Impreza). I prefer a smoothly flowing, continuous dash. Just seems cleaner. Those are really my only complaints.

Now if I could get it with the engine out of this, that'd just be icing on the cake:

490hp, 740 ft-lbs. Enough to get a 5,000lb SUV from 0-62mph in 5.5 seconds. Yes. Please.

dunno whether this one would have the same (or a similar) air suspension setup as its A6 ancestor. Personally, I could do without.

The air ride suspension is a well-known pice of crap.

Well, it's actually really nice. Until it breaks. then it costs a fortune to fix and breaks often.

No thanks. Leave anything overly-fancy out of an Audi.

reminds me of the air suspension I had back on my XT6! I bought a wrecked parts car for $1000 so I could harvest the brake calipers, rotors and suspension pieces after a $900 brake estimate for 2 rear calipers and rotors from Midas Muffler.

Every time I put the car on jackstands to service the brakes I'd lose another air suspension piece to leaks!

I've seen just the other day a V12 Touareg. That was cool ! Spoke to the guy...64 years old car nut. That car has enough torque to move the universe.

Give me a white one. People who want to drive fast and not get noticed. Black is for insecure people who crave power. Red is for people who want to get noticed. Green is for people who want others to think they have money.
