Timothy.B
Sounds like a good idea then, haha. I'll keep in the mind the 5 layers. Been wanting to do some cheap mods. Timothy.B's 2011 LEGACY 3.6R
Apexofthevortex
Did you all use plasti-dip on the ac condenser too? I was thinking about doing that but I wasn't sure if that could cause issues

I was thinking about doing that but I wasn't sure if that could cause issues I was going to use something like this: [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Eastwood-Radiator-Black-Finish-Aerosol/dp/B003CRM9CU/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1444920815&sr=8-5&keywords=radiator+paint]Amazon.com: Eastwood Radiator Black Paint Satin Finish Aerosol 12oz: Automotive[/ame] I would advise against plastidip as that would likely interfere with heat transfer My "Build"

williamk
my mod is inside the 2013 2.5 there are awful chrome accents that reflect light too much! so a simple carbon fiber tape over it all works great I'm going to do the whole inside and i wanna do the shifter box but i think i may mess it up. I'll try to add some pics and does anyone know what I'm talking about? http://www.ebay.com/itm/3D-Carbon-Fiber-Vinyl-Tape-Dark-Blue-Color-Adhesive-Coated-Choose-Your-Width-/261811837747?var=&hash=item3cf5339b33:m:m4n-tGRFVeKN8zgpU7F-tzg
Timothy.B
Think I'm gonna replace the grill soon. This isn't bad for the price: http://goo.gl/YPuIxe Some primer, some color matching paint: http://goo.gl/0Hqh8Q and a good clear coat. Also get a badge for it and done. No more chrome. Don't really care for the grillmaster ones. I like how the grills are inset in these one. Timothy.B's 2011 LEGACY 3.6R
Zee199969
Its weird that the listing calls it JDM. I posted that it wouldnt fit until i realized its a CMOD grill. Ive got one on my Legacy and I really like the look of it. I also agree that I like how this one isnt flush with the body like other aftermarket grills My "Build"
Unsp0kn
It says JDM but those all look like USDM fronts. I bet they just put that because anything JDM is cool and grabs attention. Says it fits USDM. EDIT: and you already figured that out haha

ChasWG
LONG TERM UPDATE... So here it is some 5 plus years later and the original PlastiDip paint on the grille is still holding up! It still looks good, if not slightly faded from the sun and it has a few small knicks here and there, but nothing that says, "RePaint this now!" I have been pleased how well this mod turned out and how well the paint has held up. And I still get compliments on how the car looks.
Timothy.B
I need to stop spending money on the car but a can of plasti-dip inspires some cheap mods. I think it's about time to delete the chrome and fix the faded and oxidized roof rails. Almost a year later and I've yet to do it. I'll update when finished. Timothy.B
I'm gonna mention this because I know *ahem* someone that did this but. Don't use anything like trim restorer on it Or wipe tire shine on it with a rag. I found out the hard way. It soaked in and got under the plastidip and started to bubble at the bottom of the grill.
