  2. Hey everyone, Its been forever since I've posted here. I got rid of my LGT a few years ago and I'm really curious if anyone on the forum has my old car. I was going through some storage and found my old spare key so it'd be pretty cool to return it to whoever ended up with the car. Mine was a 2012 GGM that ended up selling at auction in the central east coast DC area. Would love to hear from anyone who has any info.
  3. I've had my eye on a BMW M235i, the prices on them have dropped substantially. I guess all the people who had them are trading them in for M2s or something. Only thing is its gonna be weird going to a RWD drive coupe since everything I've owned has been 4 doors with AWD.
  4. Hey everyone, been away from the forums for a little while. Been about a year since I bought the RS. I loved the car but the honeymoon period has worn off and I had been thinking about selling it. Just my luck though, someone hit me during rush hour a few weeks ago, car was fine but they messed up the side and did about 4k worth of damage. That kinda seemed like a sign I should go ahead and sell the car. Haven't completely decided on what to replace it with, I was wondering if my 5th gen bros had any good suggestions I might not have thought of?
  5. I think I still have my nameless dp sitting in my garage, along with a catless TurboXS dp. If you or anyone is interested for a spare I'd probably sell it for next to nothing at this point since its doing nothing but taking up space and collecting dust.
  6. If you're planning on taking it off and shipping it, might be worth taking it over to Tims Turbos in Falls Church. I talked with them sometime last year when I was trying to get my stuff figured out. Whoever I spoke too was really polite and seemed like they were more than willing to help
  7. I've got a nameless and turboxs catless sitting in my garage. I'd let both go for substantially less than I paid. PM me if you're interested P.S. also FWIW I had overboost issues with both on a stock turbo, I wouldn't say one did it more than the other. I think the issue has less to do with the catalytic converter than we think. Take my statement with a grain of salt though because its based on nothing other than my own meandering experience
  8. I don't think your theory is that outlandish. We already know nameless is more concerned with taking our money and saving face than actually helping their customers. The fact that they even gave El his car back with that half ass tune and half ass port and most likely charged him for it then just washed their hands of the whole situation is seriously unbelievable.
  9. Chris was simply making a joke, or have we all forgotten what those are? You know like the people at nameless, a big joke.
  10. I looked into getting an AVO dp at some point. I may have posted about it but I don't remember. That pipe could be a great option but when I was looking it was impossible to find, one website I ordered from listed it in stock and charged me right when I purchased it, then proceed to call me later that day to tell me they actually didn't have it in stock
  11. Yeah, I can't say enough how awesome those guys are. They've been taking care of me for a long time now. IIRC he said that was the only one they had. If Riyad is there you can probably ask him, he did the wiring for the 02 sensor on said DP and I'm sure he remembers just mention Ivan with the 5th gen. Maybe if you tell them our whole story they'd consider fabbing one up for you. My hope at this point is that when I do take the care to turboxs they'll give me the customer service and respect I deserve. If and when that happens I'll be sure to post here so nameless can take some notes, if they aren't too busy rallying that is.
  12. No idea man, I literally asked the same question when Sam from Andrewtech told me they had one. I thought he had to be full of it or might think I had a 4th gen but sure enough he was right so I brought my car and they installed it. They might've done a small production run or maybe fabbed one up for a customer who didn't end up wanting it. I've been planning to take it to Turboxs to get a proper tune from them and get the full story as to how it came about, just haven't had the money yet.
  13. FWIW my turboxs catless downpipe overboosts right now, granted I havent gotten a proper finished tune so take that information with a grain of salt. You can talk about how premium the materials are on this nameless downpipe or say whatever, but I'm gonna list mine on the classifieds for a rock bottom price and I'm sure it will still sit there forever. If you don't call that worthless I don't know what you would call it. I can't speak for everyone else but I have less a problem with the product itself and more of a problem with the people at nameless and they way handled this whole situation. It was over a year before they ever even acknowledged anyone, and now half a year later they come here with some bullshit logs that don't make any sense and left us with more questions than answers. Not to mention you know they are reading this because they sign on to thank my posts trolling them but don't actually post anything useful. I think most of the people here thought they were buying something from a group of professionals who stand behind the products they make. Instead it turns out we got a product from a bunch of children with access to stainless steel, jigs, and welding torches
  14. So I guess nameless got locked out of their account again? Or is there another rally going on? Or what about [insert bs excuse here]?
  15. What really bothers me is that Nameless is still posting on here as if their downpipe is a great product and were all just not using it right. They need to take responsibility and at least acknowledge that they sold us an unfinished product whether it was intentional or not. Instead they'd rather keep posting useless data and act like everything is perfect.
  16. I think this whole thing has been a learning process for everyone involved even Nameless and English, which is probably one of the more positive outcomes of the situation. Starting to think I sound like a broken record at this point but it just sucks that we all thought we were buying a finished product but instead we're essentially beta testing it. At least we all definitely learned that you can't believe everything you read on the internet
  17. It's hard to say for sure but if what English racing and Nameless are saying is in fact true and the wastegate can open up to 70% more than it does, it definitely could help a lot. It's worth a shot if you ask me.
  18. I'd also be more than happy to help pay for shipping for someone to get a turbo out to them.
  19. Possibly a dumb question, but why would the ECU be reading WGDC as 0 if the wastegate is in fact not all the way open? Would it be because WGDC is only a measure of how often the wastegate is opening and closing? Not the actual amount?
  20. We could go round and round in circles forever. I've said this before and I'll say it again. I'm confident Subaru were well aware of the wastegaste not being large enough, which is why the car came setup from the factory the way it did. Some members of the forum knew this since jackal had boost control issues way before the GB happened. I have to think Nameless knew our cars have issues with boost control to some degree considering how the GB and these down pipes were advertised.
  21. Haterade? Seriously dude? Not sure who asked you, I didn't know you worked for nameless and were the authority on all things boost related. Also like I know you've been told before. If you're happy with your down pipe great, have a cookie, but some of us feel like we've been ripped off. So if you could leave that conversation between the aforementioned group and nameless performance we'd really appreciate it, because I don't think very many of the few people in that fall into that group care about your opinion on that matter.
  22. Yeah, I'm sure you don't remember seeing how long and drawn out this whole thing has become but if you look back to Jojos post #838 you can a screen shot of the ad and it clearly advertises "no boost creep" now I'm not an English professor but I'm pretty sure that "no boost creep" and "cure any and all boost issues" means the same thing. In case anyone doesn't wanna go that far back I'll leave the screen here with that quote in a red box
