stiwanabe
I go every year although it seriously started sucking a couple years ago. I only go now cuz I can get myself and like 6 other ppl in for free. ...oh wait, you said DC, I was thinking of the Baltimore show.
I Donated thefultonhow Posted October 26, 2010 I Donated Share Posted October 26, 2010 The Baltimore show has always sucked. The DC one is okay, but obviously doesn't have any big debuts like NY, Chicago, Detroit, LA, etc. I guess we have to take what we can get.
TheWeatherWarrior
...the search continues. I'll be spending a lot of time at the up coming 2011 D.C. Auto Show! I will walk out of that place knowing exactly what I want! CK Who wants to go? Seriously...how can you decide without being able to drive anything. I think that would be a place to start the "I want to test drive these cars" list. That's also a long time to wait....isn't the show now in late January. The DC show also started to suck since 2004 or 2005. The group that runs the show changed and started cutting back costs, especially since the cost to use the new convention was like 150% higher (yeah...150% higher). There are few if any concepts (although they were always old) and many manufacturers are no longer spending the money here at the DC show. Limited models, annoying sales people, and the models don't even look that great.

TheWeatherWarrior
It is interesting how the Infinity has been slowly gaining favor. Went from pretty much even (5 votes ea. except the S6) but now it's taking a comfortable lead in the second position. The S6 seems to have stalled some in it's votes (24 as of this post). LegacyGTBiggie
The M45 is a GREAT car. the VK is not known to be the smoothest or most powerful or most mileage.
BAC5.2
It's a shame that Infinitys are lame. TheWeatherWarrior
I love the sculptured bodies on the Infiniti...although some lines are out of wack. The grills for example are often sitting too low and too square for the overall design theme. Would never buy one myself.
TheWeatherWarrior
I know the thread is basically dead, but figured I post this: August 12, 2010 New rollover test ratings: Two large luxury cars earn good ratings and Top Safety Pick award The 2011 Cadillac CTS and Infiniti M37/M56 earn the top rating of good in recent roof strength tests that assess how well vehicles would protect people in rollover crashes. The Lexus GS and Audi A6, both tested as 2010 models, are rated acceptable, and the Acura RL, also a 2010, is rated marginal for rollover protection. CRAZY KEN
...my latest list include the Lexus IS350 AWD. I will post my review when I have a chance to test drive this car. Already I am afraid that the room will not be sufficient in the front or especially the rear! CRAZY KEN
