AKLGT
ah i see. ya that's a real bummer since it definitely detracts from the rest of the car. I see you are leaving that front bumper for last. can't say that I blame you! I remember trying to cover mine in 3M clear bra... OMG! I was cursing the entire time! Wiggle wiggle wiggle wiggle wiggle yeah!!!
ArcTec34
I'm having the problem vinyl replaced, and I will redo the doors when I get it in..hopefully next week! and yeah, I'm glad I waited for the bumper- having to do it twice because of the defective vinyl would have sucked! snow05gtRI
the 3/4 shot looks awesome are the interior pieces fairly easy? i look at the "wood grain" every day and lean closer to buying some vinyl
morning woodie wagon
Sorry to hear that the stripes didn't go away. Your door handles and side molding looks to be cut perfectly especially the key hole. Did you cut the lines for your side molding or did you just shrink the vinyl around? clarkwgriswold
That looks really good! I can't imagine how long this has taken you. I used to tint windows and I thought that was tedious. I say powder coat the wheels flat black and go completely murdered out.

I would think someone who assassinates stop lights all the time would like that look.
underpowerd
the 3/4 shot looks awesome i think that's b/c it's the only one where the abp bumper doesn't throw it off a bit -- sounds silly, but using a hand to shield it out in the other pics, the impact is equally awesome; mb lgt is sex from every angle, imo. personally, i think the result is a huge win -- but love it/hate it, Tec delivers. s car go
I noticed in earlier pictures that you could still make out the ABP door jams, is this not as obvious in person?
ArcTec34
you can't see any ABP in the door jams now, I covered the inside of the gaps where it previously showed through
OutbackXT05
You did an amazing job with that vinyl looks awsome. Cant wait to see the finished product...... Wanna do mine next? If I had the time and skill for this I'd be all over it but knowing me I'd end up getting pissed and give up after trying to do 1 door let alone the front bumper

Bear
Would this be a cheaper option instead of getting some body work done as far as paint goes?
