ridgeback
Hey Lowfast, agreed about the skinny bit for sure. Do you know the exact weight of the rims?
LowFast
No, I need to pull one off and throw it on the scale (you can look up tire weights online) then subtract the tire weight for an approximation. My highly calibrated biceps tell me the combo weighs about 50lbs:icon_bigg
LowFast
Ps. I found a place that can widen the rims, they do great work and always balance true, about $125 a wheel. But they still would be heavy, so me thinks a good aftermarket wheel is a better alternative.

droideka
18x8.5 +48 FN0R1C w/235/40/18s. They fit and would require rolled fenders on a lowered car. I'm kind of undecided about them, but had them left over from my '04 STi. http://www.waynewmedia.com/legacy/images/07_01.jpg

Prod
I was doing some 4-wheel drifts thorugh a slalom on r-comps; it's to be expected. This picture better captures the body roll when you have r-comps and 100% stock suspension. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/Prod238/ownagewagon.jpg
NSFW
Just put these on last week. WedsSport 18 x 7.5 tcoo5's. These pics are actually huge, I'm having issues getting these uploaded at their true resolution, I'm not really sure what the problem is. . . Thanks for posting those pictures, I was just ogling those wheels at tirerack.com. Any idea how hard would it be to remove the "WEDS SPORT RACING WHEEL" lettering from the edges of the rims? Is it just a couple of stickers on each wheel, or is each letter painted on, or is it etched into the metal, or...? Thanks! (The lettering would disturb the 'dark on dark' look that I'm shooting for. )

When I leave for work I'll take a closer look if I remember.
