ibr_adam09
FINALLY did mine after holding the lip in the garage for like a year:lol: I let it sit and bake out in the sun and took the bumper off. I lined it up center first, then taped down the lip to the bumper. Finally I used hardware (a packet of misc nuts and bolts from autozone) to bolt it down. I think I used 15 screws. I know, overkill. I think a tear dropped for every hole I made in the bumper http://i344.photobucket.com/albums/p330/ibr_adam09/SAM_1587.jpg http://i344.photobucket.com/albums/p330/ibr_adam09/SAM_1588.jpg http://i344.photobucket.com/albums/p330/ibr_adam09/SAM_1589.jpg http://i344.photobucket.com/albums/p330/ibr_adam09/SAM_1591.jpg

northstar
Haha- took mine to a local body shop to have them install it. They quoted $50 and I dont have a garage, so might as well. Explained that it needed 4 trim points and about an inch off each side. They said no problem. I drop it off this morning and they call me down there. I get there and the body shop guy is telling me that its the wrong lip and that even the pictures in the instructions are for a different car. I turn over the page and show them that it says "GENERAL GUIDELINE INSTRUCTIONS" and that it's the right lip. Then the body guy tells me that it takes 2.2 hours to remove the front bumper, then it'll take an hour to install the lip. Quote changed to $250. I laughed, asked for my keys and left. I'll just do it myself.

FJuan
anyone else feel that the WRX lip flares too much compared to the ravspec lip? I prefer the WRX lip more, it gives it a lower stance look. My wife's balls are delicious.

Nrw
Mine is still holding great from the handful of storms we've had up here and the constant scraping from pulling in and out of my garage. It just needs to be sprayed black since the poly is fading to gray.

It just needs to be sprayed black since the poly is fading to gray. I am in Ct and this is the first winter my lip has seen. I have 22 self tappers holding it in and its on there good. I plasti-dipped it this past summer before I put it on and it still looks great. (5-6 coats). I was 0. And I'm still a zero.

I used plastidip on my grill and wasn't a fan of it. I'm also kind of thinking of having my buddy cut me some black decals with stupid shit on it
Xcasinonightzone
had mine on with a bunch of zip ties. i took it off for the winter because on my old 2.5rs i messed up the front bumper by hitting it on ice/snow. though it seems like i might not have needed to seeing how the winter has been so damn mild... subi_snipe223
I'm adding this to my list of spring bling! I have a wicked rash on the bottom drivers side bumper. Hopefully the lip will cover most of it up. Thanks for all the write-ups, tips & tricks community.
