kaclaytor, have any pictures from up higher looking down on it like the OP's pics. Trying to get an idea of how much it sticks out from the front bumper. Also, how was fitment?

This is the part where you're bombarded with questions, by the way. haha

Ill get some more pictures up. As for fitment the lip is about 3 or 4 inches too long. But I cut it in half right down the middle and took the extra from the middle because the sides fit perfect. Then I just glued it back together after I sized it up how I wanted it. Only took about an hr and a half to cut it to length, glue it, plastidip it and put it on. Link

Ok I dont have any pictures of the process, although I should have taken some. But here is a little step by step.

Step 1- Find the middle of the front lip, then cut it right down the middle. (I used an air cut-off tool)

Step 2- You'll need to trim the part of the lip that goes up in the middle. About an inch or two on each side. Now that the lip is in two pieces it is easy to fit it on and mark how much you need to trim off.

Step 3- To figure out hom much I needed to cut off the middle of the lip for length, I found the middle of the bumper and marked it. Then holding one side of the lip on at a time, marked when it was in the middle and then cut the additional off. Then did the same to the other side. Then test fit both halfs on at once to make sure they met up. On the first one I did it lined up perfect the first time. The second one I had to tweak a couple times.

Step 4- I cant seem to find the glue I used, It was bought at a ford swap meet so not sure if its available in stores anyway. But any polyurethane glue should work. After the glue dried I sanded the area and then plastidiped the lip.

Step 5- Install the lip.

Hope that helps if there are any more questions just ask. The best part about this lip isnt even the fact that it fits better, its that you can get it for less than $60 shipped!

I jacked up my car.

I worked my way center out just a few screws where is was needed. A friend holding it in place while you do this is a huge help.

Marked off the ends.

Removed the lip.

Trimmed it with a hack saw and sanded the ends clean.

Reinstalled filled it with screws and heat gunned it to fit better.

I did a pilot holes and self tapping screws.

From what I'm reading people are cutting many different ways, and it seems if i cut right down the middle that is should be best, true? then plasti-dip the lip?

Cut down the middle if you want to try the 2011 lip. Trim the edges if you buy a 06-07.

And I'd put something on the lip wither it's paint or plasticrap.

Just wish I could get a nice used one without hving to cut and glue. Knowing me, I'll screw it up...anyone willing to sell theirs?( already cut and installed)

like posted above 06-07 fits and only needs the ends trimmed. very easy. and the 11-12 lip is the one that needs to be trimmed, glued and painted.

the 06-07 is a very basic install. as long as you can use a drill and saw.

Tried installing last night and just looking for general look and fit, you guys aren't kidding about using a heat gun haha

First tried taking the whole bumper off, grille screws were annoying to get to, but managed to take it off. Probably not going to put the screws back in hahaha what a pain :p

I read a bunch of the posts about how to take off the bumper but don't have the tools to get some of the screws that are on the inside of each side of the bumper. Removed the required 6-8 What tools do you guys use ? Seems I need something like a flexible screwdriver that can bend at 90 degrees (maybe [ame=http://www.amazon.com/International-Mm12in1-Flexscrewdriver-Specialty-Screwdrivers/dp/B001H1NEVI]Amazon.com: Handy Twins International Co Mm12in1 Flexscrewdriver 38 Specialty Screwdrivers: Home Improvement[/ame] )? Maybe someone can prove me wrong and tell me the correct steps :)

Going to try again another day by just raising the car and making some holes, that seemed to be easier.
