Couldnt take pictures of everything cause my hands where busy making food, didnt want to contaminate sashimi. I made Salmon sashimi, Tuna sashimi, Shrimp Tempura Roll, Oyster Roll, Scallop Volcano Roll, Spider Roll, Spciy Tuna Roll, Tempura veggies and seafood, Nigiri Shrimp, Nigiri Urchin, Nigiri Tuna, Nigiri Salmon.

I bet it was a lot cheaper than a shop and as long as you got good quality fish, the japanese say that the SPIRIT is the most important thing in the food and I can tell that yours is very alive, full of SPIRIT and ready to make life!

 

Beautiful... It has been so long since I have done this! Thank you so much for inspiring me and reminding me how fun it is to put your spirit in your food. I am going to do sushi in the next week (I ill try to take a few pics)

Excellent! Looks wonderful. Ever since I learned to make my own, I hardly go out. In fact, made the wifey some this weekend.. had to stick with cooked things like eel and shrimp since she's prego.. :) Before you said oysters, I thought you got some fresh sea urchin to put together. Looks great!

dam that looks good. i would like to try and make myself but how do you know the raw stuff you buy is good? when i go to the restaurants i just kinda accept that its not contaminated LOL. its not magic is it?

 

I buy the sashimi grade raw fish. They cost more.
