Drew888
That's it...I mean, it flows well with the existing lines. Fairly elegant and getting the job done!! Good find! brooklyngenius
If you make a set for the 08-09 and make them a couple mm wider I am all in if its like pic 1. Most aftermarket fenders are 5-10mm wider so I think if I were you Id just go ahead and make them wider unless a ton of people were screaming for OEM width. useless signature line where i cant mention my sponsors "First Bagged BL5!" patriki
I think, I may have a pretty good solution how not to make them too stretched out but still have the ability to fit a fatter tire in there - again, IF we did this. Alex@D2
rnstein69
As long as the one from the first pic is posted, and fitment is not an issue, I am all in on this. I would consider the other designs, but I am just not as "gung ho" on those.

Underdog
I'm looking at swapping in an '08 bumper onto my '06. It would be great if I could invest in a set of wider, vented fenders instead of OEMs to make the upgrade. I understand it would take time to R&D but can you give me a rough idea on price/ETA? My favorite was this one btw: http://images47.fotki.com/v1498/photos/1/116174/4149909/Nyomi_008-vi.jpg The Crimson Dynamo

amp583
My fav is also the below. The s402's and 1st fender in the 1st post look too buick/cadillac-ish. camber
Subscribe to this thread as well... If you could it would be neat, if they could be made functional... Although that would involve hacking up the fender liners.
Underdog
Patriki, any updates? If this isn't going to happen within the next 8-12 months I may just buy some OEM fenders and have a body shop customize them. I don't need vents but I would love it if they could pull/roll the fenders to *just* fit 18x8.5 e48 wheels with 255/35-18s. HarryN
The STI Legacy fenders look the best. If only we were able to get them. Subaru will not sell the fenders unless you have a STI Legacy with a matching VIN to their database.

Rishi
Great idea with the fenders. They look awesome. Another question Patricki, could you use FRP to form a drop in Cubby mount for a 7 inch touch screen? This would make GPS installation a breeze for non Nav cars. I think there would be a good market for that. Thoughts?

phoenix96
Good question! They will be made of FRP, so shaving off the lip on it will be nothing but SIMPLE. Maybe I can make a set that is a tad wider for you and a set for myself as I needs it with my 9 inch wide rims Alex@D2 I would love a set that was a little wider on each side. phoenix96 2006 Legacy GT Ltd · 2011 Outback 3.6R Ltd · 1992 SVX 2006 Outback 3.0R VDC · 2009 Forester 2.5X 2002 Outback VDC · 1996 Outback 2.5L · 1986 GL-
0verboost
I'll buy a set but you should lower the price for me because I'm more than likely going to break them with how low my car is along with my wheel fitment.
