I looked into exporting them.....seems almost like they're almost illegal in the US, the only way I could find was too disassemble them in the UK and send them bit by bit to the US then re-assemble. I  the Sagaris

Well if you can give me some pointers on reassembly I think we can make a go at it. I've recently come into the spare time I would need.

Haha, I would if I had the funds I used to. It would cost around $50,000 to buy the car, at least $5000 to ship it. And then somehow you have to find away around all the registration crap. As far as I can see, only one person has ever been successful, it cost him in-upwards of $150,000 for a $50,000 car :spin:

Sorry to hear you now have the time to do something like that, the boat market is kinda stale right now too.

Yeah this time of year is always kind of slow for the RR and furloughs are a fact of life for junior employees. This year the cuts are even deeper so I don't know how long I'll be off for. Hopefully not long, but we'll see.

I'll give it a little while before I start looking too hard for another real job. I have some other "jobs" I want to take care of first. Like working for Wal-Mart and becoming the worst employee they have ever had. I would like to see how fast I can get fired etc....

I have been thinking of all sorts of things to do. For instance the very first day I would show up so drunk I couldn't function. Have a friend drop me off and just walk in reeking of cheap rot-gut whiskey.

Take 15 minute breaks where the managers have to come find me..... I'll be drinking the whole time.

Tell all the customers (no matter who they are): "You can't buy that with food stamps!"

Call loss prevention over the PA to any isle with Mexicans or other minorities in it for example: " Loss Prevention to Isle 13, there are Mexicans..."

I'm telling you I could get fired in no time.

I love all the old Datsuns! They are the founding platforms of what now makes Nissan the awesome supercar it is.

And the swaps!!!!

two of my recent favorites. They've got me pining a bit for the old sleek square-edged treatment. Streamlined is nice, but aerodynamics isn't all curves. (a couple of nice cars in the background, too...)

Now, if I could build a car that looked a lot like these, but not strictly a replica, with modern fit and finish, modern interior, reliable features, and an EG33 twin turbo Subie engine, with a RWD transaxle... I would be a very happy driver.
