My key blade decided to break a couple days ago (the actual metal blade, not the plastic ) so i figured I'd give this one a shot:

I'll update once I have it!

Yes it does, how's the quality on it?

Catalyst where did you get that shell? Link to a post or something where I can request/order one of those. My Honda shell is worn out so bad I'm contemplating reverting back to the stock key.

The post above his (my post) has an eBay link to what appears to be the exact same shell...

I got mine from a member, xluben - he's here and Nasioc and sells the housings. He sent me the shell, an 09 remote for the buttons, the non laser blank, and was a good deal. It looks just like the one Doc posted from eBay and had the same parts etc. They look identical to me.

Doc - the quality is pretty good. Flip motion is solid if you get the spring rate (twists) correct. I notice when going into the ignition that the side the key is on allows a little flex in the case when turning the key but this is because that side isn't reinforced since it's recessed for where the key flips into. Not a huge issue. I'm happy with it :)

revival,

Does anyone have any input on key preference? Through my research, it looks like both will work, but is one better?

Which key would be the best for making the flip Key?

I have a 2007 Spec b.

08 Key 57497AG35A

09 key 57497AG48A

Thanks
