ram7884
So I had given up my search for these wheels when today I found a gold set near my house with some BF goodrich g-force rubber that are claimed to be 75% good for around $1200. The wheels are supposed to be pretty good with some minor curbage one one. Is this a decent price? I was also wondering if anybody knew where I could find some gold touch up paint that would match in the event that I picked these wheels up. bnguyenbb6
I bought some pretty rashed rims for $700 and new tires for $400. $1200 with tires might be a good deal. Grimmspeed for gold touch up paint.
ram7884
Thanks, i'm probably going to take a look at them this coming weekend to see what's up. I'll def pick some of that paint up if I do because i'm anal and i'll want to make them perfect before I put them on. Bnguyenbb6, did you use bondo or some of that epoxy weld to touch up the rash on your rims?
ram7884
Has anybody put on 5x114 bbs wheels using a 1" adapter? I was wondering how this might have worked out for anybody who has tried it. The adapters only run between $90-$100 and it seems like it might be a good economical solution, but I don't know if you would have to roll the fenders to keep it from looking like the wheels are sticking out too far. BigBlack-V
Just put'em on today. Need to score some jdm springs I guess, to lower a bit, so that the front wheel gap isn't this big. http://sites.google.com/site/kabanamat/bbs.jpg I like that I am about to have my BBS's powder coated on the same color car. I saw black chrome but it looked identical to the color you did. Does anyone on this forum with BBS wheels have any issues with brake dust caking on the wheel and not coming off? If so what did you guys use to remove it? Edited May 12, 2010 by BigBlack-V I was 0. And I'm still a zero.
