05Limited
Yeah, I know the impreza guys like to swap out their bumper beams for the JDM ones - saves ~10-15lbs over the stock one, and still has some safety to it, plus it would let you run a JDM Spec B bumper... FPerron
How about the bumper beams...any weights? And also the weight difference between a Perrin TMIC and an AVO.
Soda Popinski
You don't want to remove the underbody tray. there were posts on here that removal of it actually made air low bad through the intercooler. air actually passed out through the hood scoop instead of into it. Besides, how much does it weigh? 1.5 pounds? there are other parts to replace than that.
ToySubie
bumpage, just wondering, has anyone actually weigh the front seats (either regular or premium, heated and all the electronic adjustability doodads...)
Buru
i would like to know how much they weigh!!!
Scooby2.5
Change the front brake calipers to the Wilwood kit. The Wilwood calipers are less than 5 lbs a piece the stockers are about 15 lbs. They fit under stock wheels and are much better than the stockers as far as pedal feel and quickness of engaging. http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=96953
Underdog
I was thinking about this today and, for a bunch of reasons, I thought that it would be pretty slick if a local vendor (looking at you R-Rev )would make some carbon fiber front fenders modeled after the S402. I wonder what kind of weight savings we could see with a set of those puppies. Even if it's a small amount at least it helps the F/R weight distribution. How much do you think a set of those would go for? The Crimson Dynamo
N.sane
might as well get some CF hoods and trunks produced too haha
Underdog
Not a lot of weight savings in the hood, and no much other benefit either. At least with the fenders you can fit some wider rubber and get a more aggressive look. Could do the trunk, but I'd rather focus on the front to get closer to 50/50... N.sane
Hmm, true enough. Our hoods are aluminum anyway. Wide fenders would be nice, our heavy cars could use some wider wheels/rubber
CH3NO2-GT
Titanium lug nuts could shed a few critical pounds out of both your car and wallet.
