SeeeeeYa Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Although this may have been posted before it bears repeating. This is information that affects us all, everyday. It answers question you might not know you had. I've included both a pic of the document I scanned as well as a link to the .pdf itself. Infamous1 Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Nice find! I for the mostpart know these things but it is nice to have on one PDF. Saved
rao Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 very true Rob IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CAR YOU SHOULD NEVER DRIVE IT
Infamous1 Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 Good stuff its ashame his parts don't work I might of missed it awhile ago, but who ever stated a boost-a-pump wouldn't work? I always read you joking about it as you run one, but I thought the downside was just the cost vs the Walbro pump?
rc0032 Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 I get crap on here all the time for running one; thats why we joke. It works and its more reliable than a Walbro
yamie700 Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 How many of you have been using the boost-a-pump with the stock fuel pump? How long have you had them installed? Just curious.
rc0032 Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 2 years no issues here rao 3 years no issues there are a few others that are using but they can talk for themselves.
boostsr20 Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 2 years no issues here rao 3 years no issues there are a few others that are using but they can talk for themselves. Good to hear. I'm looking into it also.
2005garnetGT Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 I might of missed it awhile ago, but who ever stated a boost-a-pump wouldn't work? I always read you joking about it as you run one, but I thought the downside was just the cost vs the Walbro pump? it was me, but I changed stances on that in, oh, 2005.... back when rao wasn't a mod and rclark0032 was....
VTGT Posted April 25, 2008 Posted April 25, 2008 yeah I would only use the boost-a-pump if I upgraded my turbo Unless I could find a used avo fp for around $200
LittleBlueGT Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 Can the boost-a-pump be set to turn on at less then WOT? (just going by what it said in the attachment) Many set-ups would need it at 80% throttle or even lower. Full tune of 68HTA, KSTech 73 MAF, Racer X FMIC and ID1000s................by the DataLog Mafia!!!
rc0032 Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 Its driven by PSI to activate (mine is 5psi) so its not directly related to WOT.
