RE92 Hate Thread

It's been three years but I have finally convinced my business partner that we both need new tires.

He's buying dedicated winters for his MDX.

I'm just replacing the RE-92's on my stock rims (finally).

Friends- what do I buy? Must be at least a 7.5/10 performer and more capable in the snow and ice than the RE-92.

I hope to run these for a couple years, in all seasons.

Nokians?

Conitextreme?

(dedicated winters on other wheels is not an option)

Please, I have 4 days to decide. Guide me.

here's the feedback page on tirerack:

notice for that their category the RE-92s are not doing so well. i would get the Michellin Pilot Exalto if you can afford them. I'll be putting some on my wife's accord soon. The bridgestone G009 are a bargain for the money and they will be better than the 92s in the dry and much better in the wet. in the snow they will probably be about the same despite what the survey says. the only tire that is good in the snow is a snow tire.
