To me, as long as there is a good marketing strategy, you can sell crap and people paying big money for it. Look at Scion... I used to be in Scion community when they first came out. I had a 04 xB and Scion Corp is very closed to the "End-Users" rather than dealership. They has events, photo shoots, even commercials with real people real car. They targeted on modification. Customize your car is what they aim for. Dealers are pretty mod friendly and also carry aftermarket parts. They work with aftermarket manufactures to bring up the profit. They don't make much selling the car... I got my xB for little over 14K and the car is manufactured in Japan. The fixed price policy works our great too. I think SOA should have look at the Subie Community and really show some support. If you can't convince someone to buy a Subie, at least show them what they can do to it if they owned one.
