ghibli99 Posted August 12, 2007 Share Posted August 12, 2007 Good seeing you all yesterday... I'll have some pics up after Tuesday night or so of this week after I get back to Phoenix. Slept for 11 hours straight last night. OMG, the heat drained me! New WRX is surprisingly capable and very nimble on the track in stock form. It'll be a beast with some better suspension and tires. Peak torque comes on at 2800rpm, which really made this thing push hard all the time. The biggest surprise? Turning radius. Thing cornered so tight I felt like I was on a turntable. Interior space is also much improved... sitting in the back of the WRX hatch doesn't feel tight at all, with some serious headroom. My, uh, pleasantly plump friend even got in the tank. They gave her a little die cast rally subie and a bunch of shirts and towels which was cool. The tracks were shorter than i had hoped. They should have at least let you run the track twice. But I do have to admit, my driver, (his name was John) was AMAZING! My gf and I had a great time. Oh, saw hanger's car on the way out. Sup Hang.
