gfxdave99
wow, with the new wrx drama there is no more talk about the legacy sti/tuned by sti dream... I think we're all pretty much pissed at subaru right now If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough. - Mario Andretti
kenzo
wow, with the new wrx drama there is no more talk about the legacy sti/tuned by sti dream... We're still hoping for new solid info on a LSTi. The new WRX doesn't fill the void for a roomier, more upscale performance sedan like a LSTi would.
BigT
http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=58832 I would venture to say that the Legacy is definetely not going to see an Sti, until maybe 2010 or 2011. As for other cars, I would suggest people start looking at the new S5. Saw it at the auto show and it was quite impressive, plust it's a AWD coupe. Mo_GT
Congrats Aussie's you haven't had a Turbo forever...glad to see they figured it out for you guys. Maybe there is hope for the U.S.? yeah right... We've had Turbos's since the RS Turbo (1992?) and we've had the WRX since the first one (1994?) We only missed out on the second generation Legacy turbos...

j255c
the 2008 spec b is pretty close to that guys except for the brakes. Give SOA a break, they suck, but they are kind of trying lol. Although i wish we got spec b's in black, that cool interior, and those mufflers , shit SOA does suck. 06 TB EVO IX SE stock turbo monster subaru hater
Opie
You guys crack me up...IF SOA were to bring that car over it's price coverts to $54,998.00 and very few of you would be able to ante up that for it. I agree it's bad ass and I desire to have one in my garage, but do you really think that if SOA brought 300 here they would all sell? I don't...look at the limited number of '06 Spec B's...there are still some sitting around. Until SOA see's quite a bit more demand for Legacy performance models at a price they can afford to sell them at we won't be getting any...even if they offered that car at $45,000 you guys would be complaining over the price... HansGT
I have those parts on my LGT. Beat the Austrailians to it! Na na boo boo. Stick your head in xoo xoo. Same suspension, same wheels, IMO better looking brakes, STi front lip (check) SPT intake and exhaust. STi badging. AVO420 turbo, etc.....I think mine is better! www.japanparts.com allshock for the bilstiens Building your own is half the fun. You want someone to do it for ya? You'd just start replacing parts anyway, no matter how they made it. Trust me. I've wasted ALOT on cars. I don't think the AU version has Bilstein HD's from allshocks. Most likely JDM Bilsteins (GT and/or Spec B)

zildjiank
Spec B 2007 is basically that minus the brembos and "STI" stitching... Not that impressive for that price IMO. Looks hot though...

No, tuned by STI also has Pinks and specially tuned Bilsteins... or at least Bilsteins with STI stickers Plus the overpriced quad tip axelback. titsataki
Does this Legacy tuned by Sti have the STi hubs as well (114mm vs 100mm)? Does it have DCCD? Does it have a front Limited slip differential? Cheers Nick
psi365
I know it probably makes no difference, but I emailed SOA asking flat out if we are going to get a LGT Sti in which of course their reply was nothing is planned for the US market, but the request was forwarded to the future product planning. SO maybe as a community if we email enough requests maybe they might think about releasing one to the US market.
