BradyCat
Does anyone know if this should work with Android? In particular Samsung Galaxy S2. I did this mod last night and can't get any video at all on the screen. I don't think I messed anything up as far as grounding out the grey wire. I also can't output video from my laptop. Audio only from phone and laptop. Will it only play DVD video files from a portable DVD player? No avi, divx etc.? I used these cables to plug into the headphone jack of the phone. Tried the same thing through my laptop headphone jack. All I get is a black screen (pressing INFO twice). 2013 Ford Taurus SHO 2009 Spec.B SWP Stg 2+ Airboy tuned 2010 Toyota Sequoia Platinum 5.
BradyCat
Well I found the answer I was looking for - the GS2 only does video output via the micro USB port with an HDMI connector. Only the older GS did TV out through the headphone jack with RCA's. Crap. Just so happens I have that HDMI thingy too, so this is not over yet. I just need a HDMI to RCA converter now..... 2013 Ford Taurus SHO 2009 Spec.B SWP Stg 2+ Airboy tuned 2010 Toyota Sequoia Platinum 5.
bosc0
With an iPhone or iPod video and the following two cables (or similar), video/audio should be possible on the Nav Screen... correct? http://store.apple.com/au/product/MC748ZM/A?fnode=MTY1NDA0OQ http://store.apple.com/au/product/H7185VC/A?fnode=MTY1NDA0OQ
car_cursed
Or you could just buy a jazzy aux input kit, that's what I did. http://www.jazzyengineering.com/product_info.php?products_id=
