I'll post pics when I get mine. I ordered a TRUST (GReddy) Silent Force Revolution CBE from a local vendor. Pick up price was $680 so you'd need to add shipping to it. Supposedly a quiet, straight through design. http://www.trust-power.com/06new/e2006/061013_sfr.html and http://www.trust-power.com/01exhaust/silent_revolution.html

I like those...nice thick tips...can't go wrong with Greddy quality.

In Taiwan now...:spin:

Not bad.... tips are nicer than Greddy version. Let us know how it goes when you get it, with pics.

I wouldn't mind the whole car... (From Jim's first link in post 100)

Chalk up another option.

Probably should get back on topic to discussion of the X02 offering.

this is my set up and again that is my car on the lift also but i have a 3'cat and a 3' Resonator and its called the bullet. also the resonator is about 6' long so its not that long but give out a good sound. i like it. i might go back to single exhaust so when i take it out ill take a good picture of it when its out.

If you take it out, and sell it used for a good price, let me know!

I am liking the trust system, too, but if you sell yours in favor of a single outlet option, I may be interested at that time...

The question I have, is where is the 3" catalyst installed? in the XO2 midpipe, or in the section forward of that, where the stock catalyst usually is?

The resonator thing sounds like it did make a difference, which is good.

did you see the specs on this page? http://www.trust-power.com/06new/e2006/061013_sfr.html

they have mufflers at 75000 yen. that's approximately the price you paid. i would double check with ravspec because i really can't imagine any decent quality JDM CBE would be that cheap.

Thats pretty..how much is 75000 yen on U.S. Dollars?

$634.50.

That does sound cheap for a catback. although I wouldn't complain if it is a catback.

This is also including recouping freight shipping from Japan?

That page is unclear as a description of the catback system, by how many mufflers it has, or a description of the packing contents, being only mufflers.

I like that system, but my only reservation is that the tips flare out from a smaller diameter, like the Borla. Hard to tell if it is noticeable on the car.

I installed mine last night and I'm pretty happy with the results. The tips taper down to the size of the y-pipe to the muffler outlet, so it is staight thru. From the side of the car it can be seen partially. The tips look similar to the type on stock 350z's. I left the stock cat in and with no resonator and it's not too loud, no cracking. Since I left the stock cat in without grinding down the doughnut it pushes the pipes out slightly to the back of the car, so maybe it will even fit wagons. When doing the install, I took the stock mufflers off first and it appears that the new mufflers will bolt to the stock y-pipe too. The fit is good, no rubbing. The quailty is all there. Sorry guys I dont have pics or video, I hardly have time to post this review.

Love that line!:lol::lol::lol: 20-30 hp... riiiiiiiiiight:icon_wink:lol:

Funny.....that's lower than what Subaru claims for the SPT power pack, in the Drive magazine I received from Subaru recently.

I believe the SPT exhaust and filter add over 30HP:icon_mrgr .

I totaly agree with the possibility of a straight thru exhaust adding 20-30HP.

I have the SPT power parts, and can feel the difference.

I have a Chinese exhaust from SS-auto AKA OXO, AKA ???, for a wrx/sti.

It Sucks ballz! It developed a nasty rattle in the muffler, sounds like loose change vibrating when you rev.

They never answered my Emails, and can't buy just the muffler section.

For the extra $$, and a warrenty from Subaru, and a perfect fit...I went with SPT. Peace of mind knowing it's covered, and is a quality unit.

I'll sell for $50, plus shipping....Full turbo-back 3" system.

Scott
