Vahkil
ok got it done once again. this time i am very pleased. Went ahead and left the mesh untouched and also filled in the bottom part with mesh as well. here are some fished pictures. http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i171/Crucifix79/grill1.jpg http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i171/Crucifix79/legacy015.jpg http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i171/Crucifix79/grill2.jpg http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i171/Crucifix79/grill3.jpg Got any daytime, no flash pictures from a decent distance away? I can't really get a feel how the aluminum looks against a dark color with the glare from the flash.

subastyle
Rage,,,You have your grill on wrong that gap shouldnt be there..take it off again and kinda slide it along the bumper without scatching it then lock in the clips on the bottom..are you going to paint the mesh?? RaGe
yeah i figured that out last night when i was putting my plates back on and realized that i left the clips off as well as the pop-its. will get ready to take a picture here in about an hour. And i didnt plan on painting the mesh. It is coated with stainless steel so i figured i would wait and see if it is going to rust. I didnt want the front end all black. Initialy i had the grill black along with the mesh but didnt like it so i sanded it back down and hit it with a proffesional gun with the exact color code 32J. OTM. RaGe
ok here ya go. i am completly done now. not changing anything. i kind of like the silver look on the mesh instead of the black. i think it makes the front stand out a little more. so enjoy. http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i171/Crucifix79/front001.jpg http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i171/Crucifix79/front002.jpg http://i72.photobucket.com/albums/i171/Crucifix79/front003.jpg OTM. PhilT
But how many days did it take to earn the money for the RBS? About 2 hours That's why it's easier to buy one than waste a day doing this mod. Double Award Winning Legacy GT Wagon

Vahkil
My local hardware store (not major chain) had them. You don't technically need it. You can use a scrap piece of aluminum screen or just about anything you can shape and that will provide a strong enough foundation for the first layer of bondo. Jerboa113
well, based on the RBS being $320, that means he makes $160 an hour, which comes out to over $300,000 a year.. which would turn my dentist green with income envy. I hope you're saving the world with that job heh I skipped the middle page because I'm on dialup (vacation, waiting on everyone else to wake up, I'm a morning person when on vacation) is someone doing this mod for a fee? I absolutley suck at bondo work and would be willing to consider having someone do it. Especally if you can find a better way than zipties and epoxy to hold things together. Vahkil
ldc2335, you did a great job on that grill. You did the opposite of me with the slots... I cut the slots in the mesh. Looks like either way will work fine.
