Guaging interest in Crucial Racing quad tip cat back exhaust (sedan) turndowns (XT)

Alright....I currently have the EVO2 catback. I am fine with how loud it is but I would not mind it being a little quieter;)

My main questions about the system are:

 

Size of tubing....want @ least 2.75" hopefully 3"

Wagon Fittment

Will the thermal coating be on the whole catback?

Tip size.... Thats ALWAYS important!

 

As with all things you cannot please everyone...I am looking for something along the sound lines of the Perrin catback. In the end though it all depends on how restrictive the mufflers are.....resonators.....we dont need no stinki'n resonators:lol:

Yes I would be willing to put $$ down on the system.

I'd have to hear it and see it on the car but after that i'd put money down given that i knew it would actually be made within a short period of time. But i love the idea a quad tips but know i couldn't live with the loudness of stromung day to day.

Wow cool! I just PMed Jeremy since he is probably still sleeping over there on the west coast. I told him I think we have some buyers ready to invest in this and all of the feedback.

 

I refered him to this thread as well. Here are the highlights I stated:

 

1) On the quieter side but louder then stock. Close to the level of the WRX in that video clip is acceptable.

2) Powdercoat option is wanted

3) Dual tips on each exit for sure

4) Wagon and XT fitments

 

Those seem to be the main points

I'm very interested in the cat back and think the Crucial line up is an outstanding product line and Jeremy is a great person to deal with. Now I don't want to sound like an ass here, but as a company, don't you have to spend money to make money? If we don't get enough people to pony up a few hundred bucks a each, then the CBE dies?

No it just means that we will have to wait until he has the capital to start this project. I stated that earlier. However, I really want to pull the trigger on this and I know that Crucial's system will kick ass and I will regret buying something else and then theirs would come out. Ths just gets the project moving now and it lets us have more input!

Well we aren't sure yet what the initial capital need will be for Crucial. Could be less could be more. It all depends on what he needs for the first batch and how many buyers we have.

 

All I know is that the people that prepay will get 2 things:

 

1) A discount on the cost of the final exhaust for being the investors

2) The chance to back out if they don't like the final product and get your money back. All you will lose is your slot and time that the money was tied up in the "investment"

count me in, dont care about sound, want most FLOW.. wagon fitment and if you cant take the drone buy a moped oh yeah and 3in pipe please.. none of this vaginal 2.25in pipes some of us have a bit of a wide load..
